My program was just cancelled. I've had my senior year, my graduation, and now this. I've lost everything.

My Disney College Program's start date is currently June 1st...hoping that doesn't change!

FA is Fall Advantage! The start dates are earlier (May-June) than the regular fall program.

A bit of an update from the DCP. Today, FA arrivals were able to select housing. Flamingo Crossing was also available to choose as a housing option in the rankings.

Just got in contact with my friend who is on her program now. They are completely devastated and blindsided. They were told by their leaders yesterday that they weren't being terminated. Now they have 2 days to find a way home and most of them can't afford it. My heart is breaking for them more...

I know, I feel so awful for all the current CPs. I have a friend down there right now and they're all panicking because they don't know how to get home in 2 days.

oh absolutely!! I have my own moral issues with sea world unfortunately but there’s so many incredible places in Florida! I’d be happy to find myself long term at any of them. Lol you’re definitely not wrong. But I’m going to try my best to make the most out of it before I get heat stroke!

The future I dream of definitely isn’t your typical CP ambitions. I actually want to be a zookeeper at DAK. But I do get where you’re coming from and I’ve heard lots of horror stories...but for someone in my field Disney is at the top of the chain when it comes to zoos and conservation work.

Oh boy, I truly hope you have a good experience but you really can't beat that price. Nor the convenience of flying out of Islip and being able to avoid JFK! And absolutely!! I should find out mid-May (prayfully!!) so I will keep you updated :)

I absolutely agree. It's also my number one chance to having a future with the company full-time so I need this. But seeing what's going on in California now definitely is nerve-wracking.

Gotta love being an expendable college student! But in all honesty, I would be absolutely devastated if they did cancel
