Disneyland passholder lawsuit alleges Magic Key deceptively advertises no blockout dates - OCR

What I think is interesting about this is how Disney totally inverted the pyramid of who they prioritize for admission when the park gets close to capacity. Pre-reservation system, with their “phase closing,” the FIRST thing to stop was the sale of day tickets. The LAST people they were to...

News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

More than likely yes, but I know of at least one guest-facing CM personally who has an exemption who does not have to wear a mask while social distancing, but does at all other times. However, I think most roles required the unvaccinated to wear a mask at all times.

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

It did, but 99% of guests never read beyond the return time window. Back in my CM days, I constantly pointed it out to guests, and they almost always said, “Oh, I thought I had to wait until I used this one!” It’s like when guests ask for directions to a location while literally looking at the...

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

I think the real reason for this is that only the main characters in the DRAMATIC STORY EVENTS are specifically in “entertainment” roles, and the rest are your regular front-like CMs who didn’t have to audition, but instead just had to interview, and probably have little to no acting experience...

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

Who gives their kids baths at Disney? Don’t parents just use the pool for that? Oh wait…

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

Those bunk beds look so tiny! Can they fit any other kids besides twin 3 year olds? Or is it just an illusion? I certainly can’t image preteens let alone teens sleeping in those bunks.

I’d rather universal learn from Disney’s mistakes and get the Hogwarts Hotel right.

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

That sounds so nice, but it would only make the system worse. I think there’s possibly a good number of people who are still under the impression they can only have one out at a time (even with the legacy FP, guests were ALWAYS able to get another FP every two hours, but I’d say 90% of guests...

Capture Your Moment comes to all 4 parks (with a price increase).

I mean, if you’re looking for actually decent family photos to commemorate your Disney vacation, I know a local photographer who would be more than happy to do so… 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

Right, I thought for sure it was gonna be awful. But again, this is a kid who got to do it for free. So take it with a grain of salt. I’m still skeptical myself. But at least I know one person who like it! 🤣

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

the 13 year old son of a friend of mine got to do the preview with his CM relative. This is what my friend told me her son said. And don’t worry, no real spoilers. But I’m shocked that the bus supposedly DOES feel like it was flying. Of course, this is all through the eyes of a 13 year old, too...

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

True. I suppose my personal Park habits made me forget that that was even an option. 🙃 Even before Harry Potter existed, I always got a park hopper at Universal.

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

To be fair, it’s not the HWE that makes them buy the park hopper ticket. It’s the fact that there are two separate Harry Potter lands in two different parks. Sure, if they don’t buy a park hopper, they can’t ride the HWE, but even if the train didn’t exist, guests could still only enjoy one HP...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

I get that, but you’d think the slow down would have started showing in mid to late 2020 when covid first hit and we knew next to nothing about it. The world was practically shut down for months. again, I’m not saying it’s absolute PROOF of anything. I just think it’s a pretty big coincidence...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

I know this isn’t exactly scientific, but here’s something that makes me question this claim: Babycenter had due date clubs, and for years, each month’s group has members numbers somewhere in the 30-35k range….until mid-late 2021, in which there has been a significant decrease. If covid itself...

    Minnie Vans Gone For Good?

Aside from #63, all of these were from the original fleet, which were beginning to be turned in right before the pandemic. Their leases were up and it was just time for them to be replaced. This is obviously a moot point now, but the MVs were allowed to let you take an on-property stop to the...

    Minnie Vans Gone For Good?

I mean, the drivers were paid only a couple dollars more than most hourly roles. But the vehicles are fully-loaded. Some 60+ vehicles that cost anywhere from $55k-$78k plus the cost of the custom wrap for each…that adds up. Sure, they were leased, but every 2 years, they were gonna be traded...
