Largest attendance @ DHS in 5 years

I'm in a different boat...with my beloved EPCOT receiving so much construction, that makes it really hard to justify a trip to Florida to see the most lovely theme park in the world marred by a bunch of construction zones and walls. Had to happen eventually -- evolve or die -- that doesn't mean...

What Do You Think is in Phase Two for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge?

As Eddie Valiant said, "Yup. That's my hunch." As for a third attraction, they're stuck in the Battu post-Last Jedi/pre-Rise of Skywalker time-frame, so they have to work in those parameters (though they could easily do a work-around...a cave or even a spire strong in the Force, and inside, you...

Maybe they can drop the ramp on someone and break their leg like they did with Harrison Ford while shooting Ep. 7.

How the Jungle Cruise Movie Has Already Affected The Jungle Cruise

Yeah, people are gnashing their teeth at each other about it on a home video forum I frequent. Doesn't take much these days. I'm still learning not to judge movies based on trailers. Pixar trailers constantly underwhelm me, next thing you know, everybody's crying. Same thing with Disney...

    Indiana Jones stunt show update?

And they heyday of Uncle Walt on TV. There are tons of references to Disney in Spielberg's directed films, and Spielberg's produced films. (in before someone says, "Spielberg didn't direct Back to the Future or Roger Rabbit!!) Spielberg said the first word that came to mind when reading the...

    Indiana Jones stunt show update?

Netflix still has a licensing agreement on the Indy films...(and The Last Jedi and Solo). Disney+ is going to have to wait it out, at least in North America.

    Indiana Jones stunt show update?

Yet. License rights have to expire, and they have Indy 5 to promote for 2022. Don't be shocked when all the Indy films make it to Disney+ eventually, along with the Young Indiana Jones TV series.

    Indiana Jones stunt show update?

Most? Out of 32 mainstream feature films, 9 have aliens or nazis. *Sugarland Express (no aliens, no nazis) *Jaws (no aliens, no nazis) Close Encounters (aliens) 1941 (nazis) Raiders of the Lost Ark (nazis) E. T. (aliens) *Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (no aliens, no nazis) *The Color...

Yeah, but I'm not going until they at least finish Spaceship Earth, which is second half of 2022. That's three years from now.

News Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Disneyland opening reports/reviews

Because the land is so hewed to canon, it's set between 8 & 9. It's narrative-locked. Gonna have to ditch that down the road. I get a kind of LightMagic vibe with all this talk about interactivity, and bring in everyone's favorite characters. Seriously, no one outside of those who watched the...

News Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Disneyland opening reports/reviews

Better be a Phase Two attraction which brings the OT, PT and ST characters into this land all together. Screw an expanded restaurant. We need a "Journey Through the Force" ride, like there's some kind of museum on Battu with an artifact that is activated, and you get hurtled through the history...

Star Wars Rise of the Resistance Discussion

George Lucas himself on a CBS TV morning show said, "I made Star Wars for 12 year old boys. I made Strange Magic for 12 year old girls." I don't buy this. He made Star Wars for the 12 year old inside of him, and that spark of imagination and fun connected to a mass audience. Not a gender...
