This most likely has to do with the amount of time to change over the decorations in the park from Halloween to Christmas. With the first MVMCP starting on the 8th of Nov that gives them approximately 7 overnights to make the change over.

While I appreciate your input and the notion that you don't need the transition I assure you that the transitions exist beyond more than just a feeling and are deliberate and well implemented through out all Disney Theme Parks.

This is a typical guest satisfaction survey and would not indicate any changes to the park. These surveys are simply conducted to give management a look into how the day to day operation is doing with the ability to track changes in guest satisfaction compared to previous months/years.

As mentioned above the plan for MK would be evacuate everyone into the utilidors. EC could do the same in parts of FW and in other areas/parks it would be simply to get everyone inside and as far away from windows and doors as possible.

I encourage you to take another look next time you are at the parks and really try to notice every little detail. For example, in MK the transition from the hub into Adventureland begins well before the bridge. In these photos you can see how the Victorian Metal Iron work is transitioning...

No need to imagine, Pandora does a great job using these techniques.

You'd actually be surprised how much starts to change before entering a land... railings, pathway, plants... there's a lot of extremely subtle changes before crossing into a new land.

There is no official height limit however guest must be able to sit up right unsupported on their own in the seat. No lap sitting of any kind is allowed. So this has a sort of height requirement built in to it since kids would have to be at least toddler age/sized in order to meet the safety...
