Between the parade, CTM, and CM interaction, there will be very little boredom. And, you can always get dinner from Casey's or Noodle Terrace, and there's another 30 minutes spent eating. And the spot that they use isn't any more superior to any other hub spot without FP+.

If you want cheap and sleepable, the Ramada on 192 usually has good rates. Just off of World Dr. and close to a lot.

Johnny's Hideaway is SO GOOD (and all of their sister restaurants: Charley's, Fish Bones, Moon Fish). I LOVE Big Fin Seafood Kitchen! Caprino's (Cristini's, but casual) is so yummy! Stefano's is also amazing! I guess you can tell my job is about 50% dining. LOL!

Treasure Tavern is FANTASTIC! It's more mature, so not for kiddos. They also have a 3 Musketeers show that is very funny, and have added Cirque Magic, which is impressive and great for kiddos. Slueth's by far, has the best food. And it is just well done, over all. True professionals. And each...

That's what we're experiencing at the local hotels (non-Disney). Sold out, or nearly sold out, every night. Lots of ticket sales, and lots of people doing lots of things. Even domestic travelers, which are usually low after Christmas.
