So basically both MK and DHS are getting new lighting packages?

Any guesses when they will commit to the date and announce it? I would think not until the Spring? I’m sure MK will be a mad house on opening night.

I wonder if the Star Trek event at UH turns out to be a hit if they might consider a Star Trek land somewhere?

It’s pretty sad we have to think this way but it’s true. Hopefully Starlight will at least be on par with Paint The Night and have the same popularity.

They’ll say something like while we continue to bring Disney Starlight to life we will “temporarily” bring back a Disney classic, the Main Street Electrical Parade 🤣.

Well into 2025? If Summer is still the plan won’t they need to start casting around the beginning of the year? I would think after the holidays they would begin the install the lighting package, if they are going to do it.

Not sure if they are waiting to release more details in Brazil or maybe once Universal announces the opening date of EU?

Eh not sure how I feel about the Encanto float. Blue Fairy and Peter Pan look good though.

One easy cut could be the parade route lighting package. Unless that’s a different budget. Never great to hear of budgets cuts. Hopefully it’s only minor cuts and nothing that was going to be really nice.

If HEA wasn’t so popular we’d probably get that. A “temporary” return could always happen. Unlikely I know.

What could make Luminous better visually is if the fountain barges were spread out or more of them. Also water screens, fire effects and drones. Soundtrack wise I have been torn. I will say I would not be disappointed for a completely new soundtrack.

Can you comment on what the “one more thing” for 2025 is that ToTBellHop mentioned? Should we be hearing about that soon?

Im fine with this new show as long as it’s not some out of character comedy type thing.

Hate saying this but if there is a potential delay I could see Starlight getting pushed to 2026. I doubt they would debut it during party season next year so if summer doesn’t happen then it likely will get pushed to 2026. Like you said hopefully that would give them more time to get it right.

If this show really was to bring people into DS and increase sales then the only reason I can think of why it won’t continue or have a holiday show is because they found it did bring in people, but it did not help with sales. Which imo is no surprise because I’m sure many just came to see the...

Considering how tight lipped Starlight details are it’s possible there could be more under tight wraps. Not expecting a lot but Starlight and Luminous updates would be nice for Summer 2025 🙂.
