Yes, Disney is saying to Cast Members that the park will be re-launched this spring, but I agree that this is hardly a re-launch. Sure, the park remaining open until 9-10 p.m. will be a very big change, and the nighttime offerings will be great, but this is a bit too soon to call it a re-launch.

The theater was supposed to be gutted in favor of more elevators and stairs. Fortunately, the plan was dropped in favor of a second elevator to be built near Soarin's entrance.

All the seats in the theater were completely refurbished in the past few weeks. The sides of the theater were also refurbished a few months ago. The closure was announced to Cast Members literally the day before. So sudden. Something is happening, which is great.
