Live-Action ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’

This sounds like it's going to get the Batgirl-style write-off (and never to be seen or heard).

Disney Doesn't Want You to See This

To me, the most obvious was the layer of caked dust that was all over The Great Movie Ride before it was destroyed. It would have looked like excellent theming in the Tower of Terror. I mean, hand an employee a wet rag and let them wipe down everything at the start and end of the day.

    Michael Eisner's Legacy

This is the answer. Frank Wells was Eisner's Vice President of Common Sense. When he died, Eisner didn't have anybody to tell him, "You're making a mistake." And Eisner went on to make many mistakes at the tail end of his run.

News Test Track to be reimagined

I always laugh when I hear Test Track referred to as a thrill ride. It's all the thrills of driving in your car on the highway for thirty seconds in the slow lane.

    Lando (Lucasfilm undated)

This. I'm saying that they could print money by appealing to the original 1977 Star Wars fanbase - all the nerds who are now 50 years old and have endless disposable income. The ones that flocked to the Mandolorian's first season.

    Lando (Lucasfilm undated)

I disagree that a recast would be divisive. People aren't stupid, they know 80 year old Harrison Ford can't play 35 year old Han Solo. The guy that plays the Winter Soldier looks more like Luke Skywalker than Mark Hamill does.

News Test Track to be reimagined

I didn't think there were people that still believed that propaganda.

    Lando (Lucasfilm undated)

This company could print money by making a "Mando-era" Luke Skywalker/Han Solo movie; yet they insist on doing everything, but what the fans want.

News Test Track to be reimagined

They should reimagine™ it to a "history of travel" omnimover attraction with music by Buddy Baker and X Atencio.

Is the future bleak for Disneyworld, Disneyland, etc?

Very bleak. They've burned through almost all of their goodwill. Goodwill is what has propped up the company for 25 years.

What famous person could narrate Spaceship Earth as well as Jeremy Irons?

James Earl Jones, Morgan Freeman, Harrison Ford, Tom Hanks, Tim Curry, Mark Hamill, Liam Neeson, Sam Elliott, Tom Hiddleston

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

The secret ingredient is going to be either family, friends or love. Shhh .... don't tell anybody.

Live-Action ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’

But Barbie isn't a Disney movie. I care about the WDC and this is a Disney message board; I couldn't care less about Mattel (or Hasbro) and this isn't a Mattel message board.

    What is EPCOT now?

Well, I am the world's foremost authority on my own opinion.

    What is EPCOT now?

Sure I can. Future World circa 1995 was awesome. What is there now sucks.

    What is EPCOT now?

EPCOT Center (pre-2000) was Disney's Smithsonian; all of the Smithsonian. It was a series of museums. The front half of the park (future world) was science museums, the back half of the park (world showcase) were cultural museums. You had museums on communication, agriculture, marine biology...

    What is EPCOT now?

I can completely understand why you family would hate EPCOT Center in 1975. There were rapid improvements by the fall of 1982.

    What is EPCOT now?

I think you misunderstand the criticism of Moana. The criticism is because it doesn't resemble Future World (circa 1980s) in any form or fashion. The concept may have worked in The Living Seas pavilion, as a type of Image Works-style kids play area, but as built, it's just a playground that...
