I would have, without question, said "NEED DISCOUNTS". It's so depressing after living next to Disneyland for 5 years, to switch to a WDW AP and pay full price for everything....especially food. Living 2.5 hours away, we'd be able to visit a lot more often if food wasn't so expensive. We used...

    New smells in POC

Nope. It does have the smell of dirty elephants though.

    New smells in POC

I noticed the scents for the first time last month. I did not smell gun powder or spiced rum, but the Carlos don't be chicken part smelled like oranges and I did notice the burning Rome scent in the fire scene. It was really subtle though.

WDW Taking a Hit Over Gator and Massacre ...

Just want to throw this out here. When I rode Living with the Land the other day and the boat passed through the scene with all the realistic gators on the water's edge, all I could think of was that poor kid being dragged under. Did it make me sad for a few minutes? Sure. But it didn't ruin...

    Frozen Ever After opening day

It was totally coincidental too, though we noticed the night before that it was going to happen that way when we started talking about getting a copycat photo! haha

    Security Lines

Was just there for 5 days and never waited in a security line. However, we aren't morning people. We never go till after lunch.

    Frozen Ever After opening day

Michel was standing at the ride exit when we got off the boat. Our friends who rode with us let him know how amazing we thought it was. Of course I had no idea who the guy was until they explained it as we were walking away lol. Otherwise I'd have thrown him a compliment too!

    Frozen Ever After opening day

The ride was awesome. I did not look at any spoilers beforehand so I had no idea what to expect. I was blown away. I can't wait to ride again. I was always a fan of Maelstrom but I won't miss it much as this is a much better ride. This is my husband and daughter on the last day of Maelstrom...

Norway Pavilion Frozen construction - Frozen Ever After ride (Part 2)

Thanks! According to the time stamps on my photos, we waited about 20-25 minutes (posted wait was 20 mins). The queue was nearly full when we entered so I don't think it can hold more than 25-30 mins of people. We have a FP for the ride tomorrow evening.

Norway Pavilion Frozen construction - Frozen Ever After ride (Part 2)

We checked out the M&G this afternoon. It was cute. What surprised me though is the air conditioned portion of the queue only holds about 15 minutes worth of people. And an additional 5 mins worth can fit in the partially shaded outdoor portion. If the line gets much longer than 20 mins I'm not...

From the OS: Gator drags child into Seven Seas Lagoon

I am extremely impressed by how swiftly they got something up, and I don't think it looks bad at all.

This is an article from a couple days ago that just keeps being regurgitated by different news outlets.

I have come to that realization over the course of today, as well. At first I didn't see how Disney could possibly have expected this because it hasn't happened in the history of the resort, but all the pieces of the puzzle are coming together now. As soon as they were aware of people feeding...

Don't forget to pair that with a foreseeability test. After 45 years of no babies being dragged into the water at Disney and drowned by alligators, was it foreseeable that it would happen? And I put the reasonable person test into the sign debate. Would a reasonable person interpret "no...

From the OS: Gator drags child into Seven Seas Lagoon

Maybe that night was the first time they had been over near the water? If it's dark you can't tell that it's gross. Or maybe they just aren't a very wimpy family and aren't terrible bothered by a little dirt. When I was a kid one of my favorite places to swim was this big nasty man made pond...

From the OS: Gator drags child into Seven Seas Lagoon

I was exaggerating for effect. I live in Florida, I am cautious out in "nature", always looking for snakes and alligators and other scary things. At an immaculately groomed luxury beach resort at Disney World with a princess castle in the background? I cannot recall ever feeling like my kids...

It's pretty sad that a parent suffering with the loss of a child has to use a disclaimer like that these days because of the self-righteous attitudes of internet trolls. Very sorry for your loss. :(

"No swimming" does not mean "stay out of the water"!!!
