Rumor Stitch's Great Escape Replacement— Don’t Hold Your Breath

At least 2.. one for each theater, not sure if there would be a spare or not, but 2 theaters means they can limp on one if one of them went down, so I'm leaning towards "no".

Will WDW's Haunted Mansion EVER see the light of an overlay?

There are three NBC references in the WDW hm now. They need to just leave it alone. Give NBC it's own thing if they want, but leave HM as HM and respect the classics. Overlay the tree house instead.

Were the lines really shorter back in the day or do we imagine this?

It still is, aside from park open and close. (If one of the other big ones go down, lines obviously increase at SSE, though)

Were the lines really shorter back in the day or do we imagine this?

That only works at Knoebels. And their coaster band is like, 20$ and people complain... Even with a one of a kind unique ride.

News Spaceship Earth Refurb - 2 Year Closure

I'd laugh my BUTT off if it's Bradley Cooper as Bradley Cooper. Or Vin Diesel.

Were the lines really shorter back in the day or do we imagine this?

"fair" needs to go out the window. Really. Disney offers programs and incentives to maximize it's user experience and it's own efficiency and income. If people want to fail to take advantage of them out of some sense of morality, that is their problem, but it's not "unfair" for people TO take...

Were the lines really shorter back in the day or do we imagine this?

I think they already do that. Say there's a pool of 1000 FP for x ride x day.. 600 of those get allotted to the 60 day chunk, and another 400 drop at the 30 day mark. And then you have the day-of trickle that happen every day to try and urge people the direction they want them to go. I've...

Were the lines really shorter back in the day or do we imagine this?

I don't know how exactly they would do that. It would be an IT logistics nighmare to somehow tie FP pools to specific reservations, etc, and the FP+ early access is still a perk for resort guests, to a certain extent. (And should remain as such, IMO. I'm not even going to pretend that someone...

Were the lines really shorter back in the day or do we imagine this?

Which goes back to my point 1.. simply more people in the park, so longer lines either way. I do see what you are saying, and not knowing the actual metrics Disney uses to meter out fast passes, it's all just guesswork how they handle it. I do know, from someone who worked on some of the...

    News Tomorrowland love

Hmm.. I think Big Hero Six would fit nicely in Tomorrowland.. as it's future fantasy, and embraces the "not quite pure science, but speculative whimsy" of the land.

Were the lines really shorter back in the day or do we imagine this?

There are actually two different discussions going on. 1) Are the lines longer? Since the throughput on the rides is (when running properly) the same then the only way the lines would be "longer" is if there are more people in the park. So in that case: Yes. Park attendance is higher now than...

Were the lines really shorter back in the day or do we imagine this?

We have yet to not get the FPs we want when we pick them. I mean, we accept we aren't going to get every E ticket every day, because rationing fps makes sense.

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

There's a lawsuit I'd love to see. LOL. Also, who are we kidding? DCEU thinks the world is not ready for anything other than supes, bats, WW and a very wet jason momoa.. have to keep rebooting those for about a decade before you will get deeper in the roster.

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

Except possibly Drax.. because he appeared first with Iron Man and later with Avengers, in the comics, and the contract gives them rights to the whole avengers family of characters. The rest of the Guardians are lock stock and barrel owned by Disney, but Drax is the one who was iffy. The lack...

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

If you notice, Drax was missing from the original concept art as well.. and there's a reason. He's considered part of the Avengers family, rather than GotG family, and as such, Universal may actually have the rights to him east of the Mississippi.

News Disney Not Renewing Great Movie Ride Sponsorship Deal with TCM ; Attraction to Close

I know you are joking, but I would love to see, laid out somewhere, the furious shifting of rights and protecting of properties that happened leading up to the GMR actually ending up the way it did. I have read some of the stuff about GB being on the table, then off the table as another park...

Rumor Stitch's Great Escape Replacement— Don’t Hold Your Breath

It also depends on how defensive whoever is monitoring the page is. As I said, I had found mistakes on the information about the trains, went and got the straight dope, and that was "not first hand knowledge" according to whoever it was that maintained the page. So, they can continue to...
