News Disney Confirms Muppets Take Over Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios

Even among extreme thrill rides, RnRC is on the tame side. It’s wild for Disney, but compare it to any of Uni’s coasters. Plus this makes Muppets cool. (Which they always were.) They are worthy of a variation on Paris’ Space Mountain.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

All true, but ironically, TZToT vs. plain old ToT is Exhibit A in "Why we tie things to an existing IP." It's a marketing hook. That is so core to how they think now, it would be so weird to see Disney strip TZ from ToT and leave it IP-less. It would have to be some sort of stripping AND...

News Disney Confirms Muppets Take Over Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios

I disagree with you here, this isn’t the Bluey rock ‘n’ roll roller coaster. These are the Muppets who basically appeal to adults… Frankly middle-aged adults more than anybody else.

News Disney Confirms Muppets Take Over Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios

I like this, there is the history of the Muppets interacting with celebrities. This way they can rotate whatever band is popular right now with a little film segment interacting with the Muppets and use it in the preshow.

Using the Muppets as the “hosts“ this will accommodate quicker rotation of visiting rock “guest stars” to the attraction.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

The thing about that constricted street walkway to the Monsters Inc. building, now WITHOUT a huge plaza in front of it, is that this way they can better hide a bigger gravity room behind it with painted blue sky on it, just like we were afraid they were going to do based on that D23 model.

News Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

I’m sure they’ll build it, or something like it. It’s just so far off still, it is subject to winds of change just like the table-top festival center at Epcot was.

    General Star Wars News

Good question - Article is indicating the character wasn’t there in previous publishing, but doesn’t explicitly say that. Does say a Mandalorian book also published by DK was outright canceled when she was fired.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

If it were a new build, would we be saying, “Hey if you ignore some awkward parts, this really is the kind of attraction Disney hasn’t made since the late 80’s, early 90’s!”

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

Youtubers would’ve made videos anyway. For the past couple of years Disney has been acknowledging this reality by releasing their own well-photographed videos before the new attractions open. (Was Mission Breakout the first? Rise? I don’t know.) To choose NOT to do that for this ride would seem...
