To a family like us, this is good news. We are DVC and to us, the parks represent just a portion of our vacation time at WDW. The resorts and the amenities are just as big a part of our vacation as the parks themselves. We however have no interest in staying in a hotel room while on vacation...

True. But the facts of nature are mostly the same. Most anyone and most everyone can be a size that isn't obese if certain steps are taken, period. They don't require surgery either.

They have plenty. Suggesting that having one is admitting an issue couldn't be anymore wrong.

Maybe the engineering limitations involved with creating this ride had more to do with the narrow fit than anything else. If that is the case, it is tough not to comment on posts that are pointing the finger at Disney in cases where obesity is the factor.

My son and I got our bucket swinging at least 30-40 degrees to each side during the slow part of the ride. It was very significant during our attempts.

Sorry if I am not following. Are you just suggesting that DVC should contact you proactively to suggest other options if your waitlist doesn't go through? If so, I couldn't disagree anymore. I do not want my maintenace fees to staff a large group of people who just have daily waitlists where...

I read somewhere somewhat recently that Joe did in fact suggest that there is a plan to 'eventually' fix the Yeti. Guessing that it will happen during the 1st major refurb of EE which I am guessing won't happen until after Avatar is opened.

I have a weird feeling that they are not removing things that required no upkeep for no good reason. Just my opinion.

I don't understand how it is Disney's fault that someone decides after the fact they can't support a family on a job paying $9 an hour. It is their own fault for not getting into a position to support a family before they decide to start having one.

Interesting, another thread had a post where someone asked if they could do that and they were told no. I suspect Disney is reacting to this and changing what is allowed as they run into this more often.
