Diamond Horseshoe opening soon for table service lunch and dinner

Maybe leftover turkey is plentiful from Liberty Tree Tavern?

    Show Writers/Scripts at WDI

Check out WDWRadio show 306: interview with Darryl Pickett. I also recommend reading Ron Schneider's book From Dreamer to Dreamfinder. I'm not sure if either of these things are quite as specific as what you're looking for, but I found them fascinating nonetheless.

Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

No worries lol - looking back on it, my little statement wasn't exactly easy to parse either. Double negatives for the win!

Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

I'm not sure what you think I mean by comparing it to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train - to be clear, I mean that it's likely to be a very long wait for a very short, cute-but-not-particularly-compelling attraction, which is how I interpreted Kate's original post.

Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

I'd be very surprised if this isn't how it plays out. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train times ten.

Diamond Horseshoe opening soon for table service lunch and dinner

For the busy season I'm sure... now April through March :p

Diamond Horseshoe opening soon for table service lunch and dinner

Maybe no one will care to enjoy more than one entree? Given some of the reports of slowness at Skipper Canteen, I wonder whether the kitchen can handle the increased demand of a third sit-down restaurant.

Adventureland Veranda - Skipper Canteen restaurant

Yeah, and the word "Canteen" definitely suggests something makeshift, rustic, and edge-of-civilizationy, doesn't it? I still think Disney should've kept the name the "Adventureland Veranda," or renamed it to something similar. Because that's what it seems to be in reality - a tasteful upgrade...

Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

Lots and lots and lots of time :P

Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

Nah, you just gotta be creative about it. It doesn't have to be Peter Pan's Flight. You could chain a bunch of X-Wings together to make a coaster, pair them up, or break canon somewhat to make the cockpit large enough for 4 (or use a Y-Wing). Or, if you're not as tired of screen-based...

    That sounds painful lol

Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

Yeah, I'm aware that this puts me in the minority, but I was never a fan of the "generic planet" idea for the land. It solves a few problems, for sure, but at the cost of feeling very bland and not particularly Star Wars-y. I would've set it in a space station, like an orbital rebel base or...

Cuts coming to every area of parks and resorts - thanks to Shanghai and Paris

So... the idea is if I spend 30 more minutes in line for Journey into Imagination, I won't be sad that they haven't added a new attraction to Epcot since the Bush administration?

Cuts coming to every area of parks and resorts - thanks to Shanghai and Paris

Not that I don't believe you, but I don't understand this logic. How does FP+ avoid the need to build new attractions (at least, in theory)? If I understand this at all, it's deeply discouraging, because it means that instead of the ten years of staleness being the result of unintentional...

Cuts coming to every area of parks and resorts - thanks to Shanghai and Paris

Yikes. That sounds pretty serious. Are Disney's financials really that bad that these kind of cutbacks are merited? It almost reminds me of the years I spent in Boston. I feel like every year we went through the same show with the MBTA (Boston's transit authority) - either prices/taxes had...

Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

I think they're there so you'll know the land has something to do with Star Wars.

Norway Pavilion Frozen construction - Frozen Ever After ride

I agree that, personally, I hope people think there's "screen fatigue" out there, but I'm not so sure that's a generally held opinion. The difference is whether you want to be merely wowed with money spent or credibly immersed in an illusion. Given the state of AAA gaming, theme park design...

Imagineerland: Library of London Attraction Concept

Wow, nice work! Some random thoughts for you, whatever they're worth: * In general, I think a Brit-Lit ride is an awesome idea, and very nicely brings something both entertaining and cultural to World Showcase * In fact, these sorts of mythology/culture/literature based attractions are so...
