Rumor Brazil (and maybe others) Pavilion Coming to Epcot [not about Brazilian people nor a country wish list]

Disney loves to have Nassal build rockwork. Or sce nario. Or any multitude of vendors. They don't really do it much themselves, AFAIK.

News ‘Rivers of Light: We Are One’ coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom summer 2019

Certainly. This was the track that played just before the show started, when the boats stopped spinning and stood in place. Music that played before that, I cannot find released officially. There was a more background track played while the shamans walked amongst the crowds, with the animal...

Change in metal detector policy - June 2019

I was at MK this past week - they only required me to remove any rechargable battery, which I find quite fair. I was used to the old system, so I kinda had everything out already, but it's a very convenient change for the future.

News New Gondola Transportation - Disney Skyliner -

You'll note that the CMs are still wearing what appear to be work boots. These wouldn't appear to be the final outfit.

Flight of Passage Pre-show Burn-In has begun

Note that this setup (storywise) is different from the Dino Institute. In Dinosaur/CTX, you're invited in to experience a new, experimental technology, the Time Rover. Because of how new this is (and there is no native guide, like in Flight of Passage), Dr. Seeker is your friendly controller the...

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

Yeah, I mean, we only have 4-5 attraction openings in the next 12 months (Animation Academy, Smuggler's, Rise, Rat, Mickey & Minnie). They really need to pump that number up. (sarcasm)

Flight of Passage Pre-show Burn-In has begun

He's perfectly capable and intelligent - he's just an awkward and nerdy young scientist. It's a routine procedure that was developed by Jackie Ogden, and while she's off doing real science, he's running the day to day operations.

News Remy's Ratatouille Adventure coming to Epcot

Test and adjust for Rise was going on in late March, early May. It's currently also happening for the skyliners. Either way, spring still looks good, but I couldn't imagine a specific month more than the other sources can.

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

    It's spoken narration, not pre-recorded.

Flight of Passage Pre-show Burn-In has begun

Remember, this attraction opened in 2017. Unfortunately, display technology wasn't quite at that point yet 2-3 years ago. Nowadays, it'd most definitely be smart to replaced with better display tech.

Flight of Passage Pre-show Burn-In has begun

Those screens look good. That absolute black behind the panel makes it seem like one massive screen at impossible pixel densities for that scale. Truly a sci-fi display for a sci-fi land. Unfortunately, it is sci fi for a reason. Replacement is needed, and Disney can absolutely afford it...

News Primeval Whirl at Disney's Animal Kingdom experiencing extended downtime

Ride had a single coaster car on the track yesterday, no cast nearby (maintenance or otherwise). Maybe all ride vehicles are being upgraded/replaced with updates restraints/safety?

Flight of Passage Pre-show Burn-In has begun

Yup. My second shortest pre-show was opening morning, with a normal but heavy use of ums and uhs. Shortest was today. Now if I can only figure out how to make that happen every time...

Flight of Passage Pre-show Burn-In has begun

Interestingly, they seem to have cut down on his "hms" and "uhs." The same pre-show run began with him saying that the banshee are the keystone species of Pandora, and that we'll be scanned immidiately. Cut pretty much all dialogue before that. Though that may have been because our link chamber...

Flight of Passage Pre-show Burn-In has begun

Just got off FoP, and the inevitable has happened - the second pre-show has begun to have artifacts from"burn-in," an unfortunate byproduct of using OLED screens. For those who do not know, Burn-in occurs when a screen displays the same or similar images for long periods of time. This was...

News Tower of Terror to operate at reduced capacity due to an extended refurbishment

A bit of a tangent, but here's a nice video about the structure, layout, and operations of Tower of Terror.

News Tower of Terror to operate at reduced capacity due to an extended refurbishment

Because it needs to be done by August. How long did this half take, doing just the mechanical refurb? Assuming they do the second half right away, you can assume when it'll be at full capacity. Note that this is not an excuse for poor show - they should've started a long time ago, doing full...
