AmAd received a digital upgrade in the early past, so I think France, China, and Canada are the only ones still on film. It makes sense that france would get the update, too, as it makes it MUCH easier to alternate IdF and the BatB sing-along.

Enhancements is what MK needs. Show and uptime upgrades to compete with the shiny new toys added around the world (both the Disney one and the Earth one). It does need capacity, yeah, but crowds need to be drawn from it to other parks, who in turn need more capacity. Balance out those millions...
