News New Gondola Transportation - Disney Skyliner -

Interesting thing with the Skyliner - they seem to have a pretty fixed capacity. Sure, they can throw more cabins on the line or take them off, but from what I can tell, that's an involved process. This means if you approach the station at a non-peak time, you are most likely going to get...

Magic Kingdom's work has begun. https://blogmickey.com/2019/07/magic-kingdom-entrance-overhaul-project-begins/

News New Park Entrance coming to Epcot

Most of the permits were filed to expire around about a year after commencement, if I recall correctly - @danlb_2000 has more information on this.

News Space 220 Restaurant dining experience at Epcot's Future World

Compared to the real-time render tech used on Smuggler's Run, it surely is a much simpler problem to solve. The design/display stations run Unity, a game engine. Set up 6 large-scale projection walls throughout the attraction, have your cars render at full scale on the projection walls, and...

News New Play Pavilion to replace Epcot's Wonders of Life

So that's why all the very... basic... threads have appearing coming up recently. I was worried for a moment that someone had trained a Markov bot on random Disney blogs and let them loose on our forum.

Rumor Tesla In Talks With Disney to Sponsor TL Speedway

This "rumor" from a clickbait site has been completely rejected by Disney. Can this thread be locked now?

"Hey kids! Want a nicotine addiction?" "No!" "What if we made it cherry flavored?"

    Marvel Land or...Not?

No. The location is not part of the parks, and as such marketing related to it is not offending. It's also not marketed inside the parks.

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

You most certainly can. They bring guests behind the western side during fireworks for extra crowd control. And it looks worse than the MK bypass, for the record.

    Marvel Land or...Not?

The key thing is it isn't in the park. And since it isn't in the park, they can use it.

    Indiana Jones stunt show update?

Even just the Tokyo implementation of IJA with the electric actuators instead of hydraulic would be nice. But Indy is always appreciated.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

I've heard things about CM conditions in certain parts of the attraction. Is this part of that?

News Space 220 Restaurant dining experience at Epcot's Future World

Oh, last night the door was open on the Space-sturaunt, letting riders on test track get a glimpse inside. It's just concrete. No visible interior work outside of maybe infrastructure or utilities has been done yet. The building is currently a shell.

News Space 220 Restaurant dining experience at Epcot's Future World

Some maintenance can be done inside TT. Some more requires that bay. The most intense requires transferring to that bay to be loaded onto a truck to be sent to Central Shops.

News Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue replacing Liberty Inn

Construction walls were up yesterday. It's a sizable part of AA's land, not just inside the building Also of note, the other side of the AA pavilion, the bathroom bit, was also under heavy construction walls. I assume some of it is for F&W, but it's all the way back through the bathrooms...

    News Disney Riviera Resort announced

Riviera actually looks pretty good from inside Epcot. You can see it past Germany occasionally, and the blue building plus enough decoration makes it seem quite nice from that distance

Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway confirmed

He's somewhat closely tied to the X-Men family currently in use at IOA, so no. He originally showed up in The New Mutants as a villain, but then became the antihero over time. He's also been represented in at least one X-Men movie, which ties that closer. Side note: I absolutely despise...
