    Blackbeard added to pirates

I intend to see it, but I doubt I've ever seen anything that universally panned that I ended up liking. What did you think of the third movie?

    Goodbye Poachers?

YES! I'm all for stories and adventure on rides, but "you are now in an animal preserve" is enough of a story for me. No need to force anything else (sorry Mr. Rhode, I still love you). I'm not going that far, though.

    Blackbeard added to pirates

    35% on Rotten Tomatoes. :(

    Carousel of Progress Sign Change

It was put in six years before the actual year it represents, and it looks like 1994. They talk just a tiny bit about new technologies, but mostly they're talking about current technologies.

    Blackbeard added to pirates

I think I would like Blackbeard more than Davy Jones. Probably because I haven't seen his movie and come to hate it yet? Or maybe the lack of tentacles?

Disney Needs More Accuracy With Wait Times

I don't think you're understanding: the FLIKs sent in the Fastpass line DO NOT change the Stand By wait time. They are separate. Please believe that most of us know how to do our jobs, even if it doesn't look like it from a casual glance. :animwink:

Disney Needs More Accuracy With Wait Times

They weren't messing it up. FLIKs go in Fastpass, too. They do more for informational purposes than just change the wait time.

Disney Needs More Accuracy With Wait Times

That's why we send them every five minutes (might vary by attraction, though) and have trained CMs monitoring the line on camera.

Eddie Sotto's take on the current state of the parks

So, the "busy work" is designing entire theme parks that have little shot of being built and letting Marty Sklar see them. What a fascinating work environment to try and picture when you're not actually a part of it. That tickles me, as does posting on a message board with someone...

Disney Needs More Accuracy With Wait Times

Wait time cards are sent every few minutes, and many (most now, I think) attractions have people watching on camera trained to read wait time by visual read adjusting it when the cards aren't registering properly/fast enough. I can't imagine how it could be done much more efficiently. It's...

Eddie Sotto's take on the current state of the parks

I believe Philhar gets an absurd number, if my anecdotal memory is serving me.

Star Tours II - Ride reviews

And I'll bet most of them can ride more than once.

Eddie Sotto's take on the current state of the parks

Wow, no I did not. I would have guessed under 50%, but not that low.

Star Tours II - Ride reviews

Yep, in this topic, "lazy Imagineering" is "not designing an attraction to specifically cater to me." Which is senseless to the point that I'm still pretty sure it's not serious.

Eddie Sotto's take on the current state of the parks

It's interesting for me to see M:S called "love it or hate it" because I am neither. I like it, I have fun on it. I wish it were better maintained and a bit more intense (yes), but for how little I usually have to stand in line, I enjoy it. Hopefully I'm not out of line being frank with my...

    Illuminations Disappointment

Well, if you have to multiply Illuminations by 1,000 to make it better, is it really saying much? ;)

Eddie Sotto's take on the current state of the parks

I've actually come to be just fine with Mission: Space as a simulator and a setting that's about space travel potentially being a part of your future.

Star Tours II - Ride reviews

I had thought there was an entire Star Wars universe out there that wasn't just a couple characters. . .
