Been trying to work with that image but the quality leaves a lot to be desired, given the small amount of the frame that the vehicles occupy. But they do seem to resemble that crude sketch, individual pods. Lots of 'stuff' coming off them. Goggle things, (technical term!) what? So, sharpened...

Gotcha. Those are projectors, not ride vehicles. Scale perception problem!

Maybe I missed something, haven't seen that drawing before. Is that the ride system, as far as we know? From the drawing it doesn't look like the 'pods' have axes of movement, which seems odd. Perhaps just not part of that render.

Good point on the motion blur . . . but you really need HFR to make it work. Otherwise you get unnatural frame judder. I am also driven insane on my 4K TV by compression artifacts. Here's hoping there's a NASA supercomputer blasting uncompressed 8K or 16K IMAX style frames, with a billion lumen...

Thanks for sharing your insights. Great stuff. It's sad that TSL is underbaked. It strikes me as incremental cost, not overwhelming, to add enough detail to tie the whole thing together. Not sure how those decisions ultimately are justified . . ."it's just for the kids", or something like that...
