News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Maybe there's active discussions about it? I could see the RnRC redo being something they've decided on post-D23 after they realized people really want the Muppets to stay. So perhaps they're still deciding on MV's fate too.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Don't they sell dining packages for Fantasmic? I can see that making as much money as LLs for some rides; I imagine Fantasmic will be safe for a long time.

That'd be great. Maybe they could be chickens.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I actually think that fits the chaotic nature of the Muppets a lot, especially the Electric Mayhem who are some of the most chaotic Muppets. The main issue is the height requirement which means this won't be a kid friendly Muppet attraction.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I'd love that. I imagine the space marked for the Great Muppet Movie Ride is being thought of for other properties though. The coaster, MuppetVision & a restaurant would be good enough for me.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

That would've been amazing, if only... I think there's a possibility to evolve the area behind Tower into a new Muppet mini land eventually. I doubt the Villains show will be around for long. Sadly, I don't think there's room for a restaurant though.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Tbf, a good amount of the current land isn't even Muppet themed as is. I definitely would've preferred for Mama Melrose & the Christmas store to get rethemed, perhaps with a Muppets ride in the expansion plot where the Door Coaster is going. But the only real losses here are the MuppetVision...

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

The Hollywood Tower part could lead itself to some Muppet style humor; especially if the theory of the Villains being temporary & the Muppets taking over that theater is right. They could joke that the only place the Muppets could afford is right behind an old, haunted hotel.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

What would this look like on a map? Country Bears is improved. It was always IP stuff, it's just the IP in the classic version is now super outdated & no one knew what those songs were anymore. Now it's replaced with more IP that people recognize. 👀

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Man, what are they doing with the stupid, empty Animation Courtyard then!? The only reasonable answer is they have it saved for when they get the Marvel rights or something. I’m glad the Muppets aren’t completely leaving. But this is still a decision that gives me super mixed feelings.

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

The music is actually all from the films. They just rearranged them to fit the ride.

Future of the Hollywood Tower of Terror

They kinda have one with Sunset Blvd but the theming isn't very consistent sadly. I'd kill for them to completely retheme it to the 1940s. Replace BATB with a show that'd fit the 40s more (Snow White or maybe a show about 1940s Hollywood), retheme RnRC to something 40s related as well (something...

Future of the Hollywood Tower of Terror

I want Alien in DHS but DEFINITELY not in the Tower. I don't even think it'd be a good choice for the IP. They should revive Eisner's idea of a shooter ride based on Aliens. The action element might make it less scary for guests. Maybe they could just make it an Alien vs Predator ride; those...

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

None of this would compare to a brand-new theme park opening up, even if they were all homeruns. The only way Disney could've competed is with a 5th gate opening up around the same time. It's smarter to open this up a couple years after EU is out.

I guess that's a positive way to look at it. But we're probably all going to be old geezers by the time they finally use that stuff now.

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Honestly, I don't mind the Rivers or TSI being filled in. They look pretty but that's about it for me. If they make it look like the concept art where it's a cozy mountain/forest area that could be just as beautiful. But I am annoyed that this was all supposed to be "Beyond" BTM & only Villains...

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Maybe they're saving space for a rainy day incase Universal ever budges. As for Monster's Inc, I love the idea of a mini-land & the Door coaster. I just hope it doesn't replace Muppets & Star Tours. Even outside of my personal love of those two attractions, this would be an awful idea. Losing...

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Honestly, I'm down for this idea so far. I'm very glad that it's not just a port of Radiator Springs. I like the story of this being a unique location that's not from the movies. You could imagine this is something from the Cars universe or just an area of Frontierland that happens to have Cars...

What should they do with Animation Courtyard?

Idk if they'd go tit for tat with similar replacements. But the ride could've had the likes of Titanic, Home Alone, The Sound of Music, Independence Day, Cast Away, Planet of the Apes, Die Hard, Predator, etc... Tons of iconic options were possible once they owned Fox.

What should they do with Animation Courtyard?

I definitely agree that GMR should still exist, they could've revamped it to have classic Fox movies if they just waited. I'm not sure why you're calling out TSL though; it fits with my idea &, IMO, it's a fine little land. It could use shade though.
