There is still concept art posted in Downtown Disney that shows the Food Truck Park (actually Exposition Park) with the upstairs seating on the Highline. IMO, if it was really axed, they would have taken that down.

A few years ago Downtown Disney had 2 women's jeans stores added. Both closed. Jeans and other mall things are not what people are looking for at Disney World or at Disney's shopping center, even if they're from Europe or Brazil. Tourists are not stupid and they know there are real malls up...

In other news, WDWtraveler has announced that he has moved into Downtown Disney and lives there permanently in a secret location.

While nothing has gone vertical yet, they've definitely started the pedestrian overpass project. Both sides of BVD have areas fenced off with construction equipment.

I think The Hangar will be a bar you can just walk into and The Boathouse will have a bar areas separate from the restaurant.
