Why do they keep teasing dreamfinder?

This year they're bringing back lots of "oldies" like Orange Bird for the 50th, would be nice if they brought back something similar to the original ride with Dreamfinder, the current ride feels like a huge waste of space... but if it hadn't been for the pandemic, there would have been a lot of...

Was Disney lying about perfection and standards?

In the 70's and 80's it was pretty flawless, but it also wasn't as popular, and it wasn't as crowded, so the focus then was "making a great impression" on the relatively few Disney fans who would travel to central Florida to see WDW. In the 70's and 80's people thought it was strange that my...

Was World of Motion more timeless than Spaceship Earth?

World of Motion and Spaceship Earth were very similar rides, both were history lessons starting in prehistoric times going into the future... I could see how the average person might be bored or disappointed by both of them in the same park. Personally I loved World of Motion for it's humor...

Mary Poppins attraction (whatever it may be): Fantasyland or World Showcase?

OK so you're just repeating back to me what I originally said now? ...her "place of birth" is irrelevant... like I was born in Philadelphia PA, if I moved to Los Angeles CA, and started writing about life in Los Angeles, I'm now writing about "life and culture" in Los Angeles, which is different...

Western River and Splash Mountain are alike in one unfortunate way

I think Disney has 3 pretty good options with Splash mountain #1 Just "FINALLY" tell people the meaning behind this, and leave the ride alone or #2 or #3 turn it into America Sings "The Ride" ...The "Princess Movie + Thrill Ride" option seems like a bad idea too me though

Mary Poppins attraction (whatever it may be): Fantasyland or World Showcase?

You're splitting hairs and in doing so missed the point by skipping my second paragraph... If PL Travers "moved to England, is living in England, and writing about life in England" then that book and it's content "are about England and a product of England and it's culture" also it was a popular...

"Tropical Hideaway" Should Replace "Magic Carpets"

Tropical Hideaway is great but the Aladdin Spinner replaced an out-door seating area for the Sunshine Tree (or whatever they call it now) ...but yeah, Tropical Hideaway is basically "a place to sit and eat Dole Whip" at DL which what that Aladdin Spinner area used to be in Magic Kingdom

Mary Poppins attraction (whatever it may be): Fantasyland or World Showcase?

There's nothing wrong with the stuff that was "made by Americans" except for the fact that it was "made by Americans"... like Beauty and the Beast was first written by a French author in the 1700's, the story has been adapted by lots of different people over the years into films, animation, TV...

    Will Harmonious Survive?

It seems like this "movie character heavy show" was designed for the 50th, like the Pink Castle, it's aimed at people who come to WDW once in a while, or once in a lifetime. It's a reason for them to by a multi day pass, a multi night stay at one of the resorts, and of course the "Commemorative...

Mary Poppins attraction (whatever it may be): Fantasyland or World Showcase?

It is itself "British/UK culture" since it's written by a British author and set in London, Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland are as well, I think it fits the UK Pavilion the same way Mark Twain, being an American Author is one of the hosts of The American Adventure The Three Caballeros, Frozen...

Mermaid is not overrated, and is a great fit for Fantasyland... prove me wrong.

It's not a bad ride, but the beautiful queue seems unnecessarily long. I've never seen a time when any of the outdoor portion on the queue was being used, I've always walked the whole distance of it until reaching a rather short line inside the building, even on the 4th of July a few years ago...

Mary Poppins attraction (whatever it may be): Fantasyland or World Showcase?

"IF" there was to be a Mary Poppins ride at Magic Kingdom I think it should be off Main Street in the spot where they announced a theater going in a few years ago. Wouldn't quite fit the theme of Main Street "USA" but same time period, and you cloud rename/theme the Main Street Bypass to Cherry...

    DINOSAUR merch removed

Why would dinosaurs be "bird like"? Birds don't have giant teeth, and they don't have or either "4 legs" or "2 arms and 2 legs" ...a chicken with no feather kinda looks like a lizard, but that don't make it a lizard C'mon "SCIENCE" make up your mind! This and the whole "Pluto ain't a planet...

Rumor Hollywood insiders say there's growing tension at Disney as CEO Bob Chapek chafes at Bob Iger's 'long goodbye'

Disney is only one of 3 because all the others lost sight of their company's legacies ...MGM was the biggest in it's day, but as they got bigger they slowly shifted their focus from "making great movies" to "acquiring smaller studios"... sound familiar? Movie studios don't get "too big to fail"...

Rumor Hollywood insiders say there's growing tension at Disney as CEO Bob Chapek chafes at Bob Iger's 'long goodbye'

I just posted this in a different thread, seems to apply here too... Disney knows what they sell is popular, which is why they constantly raising the price on it, and are now also cutting corners on the quality of the product, but those kinds things that's not what the company was built on...
