Wow 😮 I still wasn't the hugest fan of HEA but so many others were and it has only been around for less than 5 years. I'm hoping the show after enchantment or enchantment itself veers more towards emotional heartstring pulling as did the wishes finale. I feel it's more memorable.

It sure looks like that. It completely takes away from the illusion that the roof is thatched. Makes even less sense considering most people will see the underside more than the top or sides. I really hope we're all wrong but I don't see them closing an area they already opened.

You are all confusing corporate sponsorships with Disney's proprietary character integration. Two completely totally unrelated things. Obviously, no resort is going to be branded to a company (Disney things aside).

Ugh seeing pictures of the rooms today is so disappointing. Everything looks so cold imo. The Moana swirls on every single wall, hallway, fixture, and fabric piece in the room are just too much. I know some will argue that the look is "subtle" simply because Moana herself isn't on everything but...

Am I the only one who thinks the execution of the thatched roof looks really cheesy? The ones on Aloha Isle and scattered around Fantasyland look much better. This looks like a cheap umbrella. I dont know it could just be me though.

I really love Fantasmic but if major changes aren't made to the show I would be fine with a WoC type replacement but maybe with more props and not just an empty lagoon. Maybe leave the mountain from Fantasmic but make the stage space more lagoon area to still give a backdrop to the fountains.

This also means no evening hours at MK for deluxe guests on these nights. Imagine booking a deluxe room to take advantage of the evening hours perks and then boom half of the nights are taken up by this event, yikes! It was probably inevitable but still...

Not to mention the 50th castle decor would have almost certainly stopped the dream lights from being put on. I wonder if they were planning to do something with the projections on top of the 50th decor for the holidays before covid or if just by happenstance the Christmas covid projections made...

Take away the 50th beacons and MK offerings and so far there's literally nothing new coming to any of the other 3 parks for the holidays 😔
