I think the two options here are: 1.) Leave muppets as is 1A.) Move into animation courtyard and bulldoze Disney Jr, Launch Bay, animation building and put monsters there. Leave Rock intact. 2.) Bulldoze the entire area (plus grand avenue) and let Monsters move in.

Leave it as is would be my guess.

They could truly not know though as the report states. I think it's pretty unlikely Rock is involved if it goes in Animation Courtyard. Rock is a sit down launched coaster, this is a suspended coaster.

I agree with this exactly. It’s a shame to see how the muppets are constantly treated. They are an excellent IP.

Do you think they will confirm it soon? I was actually at the imagineering booth a few days ago. I heard two of them saying “That doesn’t help all the speculation that is out there” while talking amongst themselves. That could mean nothing in regards to this project but just an observation.

I don’t care personally about TSL in particular, in fact I welcome its removal. I also am fine with rivers being removed I’m confident these new attractions would be excellent. I care more about the rivers then I do TSL, however the trade off should in theory be worth it. Clearly though, people...

I’ll say this, I don’t lament the loss of TSL or Rivers of America. In the studios though, I would lament the loss of Muppets and Star Tours. Even though I’ve wanted this Monstropolis area for years. I hope they use animation courtyard, I want the Muppets to have a permanent place in the parks...

How would they do that when they both take place at the same place? I get this comes off as a cop out excuse but both attractions do take place inside the factory at (relatively) the same point. You could just build another ride though. I’m extremely excited for Harry’s at the Studios. Sushi!

I think the door coaster lends itself so well to a ride that I prefer it. Ride and Seek is a great ride though. The queue is incredible, that’s actually what I initially thought when I saw the facade.

I give you this point. Still though, this new attraction will probably be much better than the very poorly attended TSL. I understand the aesthetics are very nice. In my observation, it’s a lot of land that could be used for future expansion and seems to be underperforming as it is now.

IP doesn’t directly dictate if an attraction is good or not. Cars Land is one of the best lands Disney has ever built. Also, cars is absolutely still an incredibly popular franchise.
