I personally don't think they should 100% do away with the Speedway. They can do either one of two things: A. Re-theme it with futuristic scenery and electric cars, and rename it to "cosmic highway" or something along those lines. B. Move it to DHS, put it in Pixar Place, and have it themed to...

Very sad but true. I've always felt that each of the individual resort "teams" have too much power and creative sway (though the only place where this seems to have a positive effect is TDL). But they really should be more united and creative/financial decisions should come from higher up.

I think it might be an interesting idea if maybe all the parks around the world had their own parades and every 3-5 years or so, "rotate" the parades between each of the resorts so the parade can be new for each of the locations and would save on each park having to come up with something...

I agree, actually. While visually brilliant I think the whole narrative was self indulgent, basically turns into "Fantasmic with Fountains", and really just feels like a bland "Disney's greatest hits" reel.

Not everything has to have a story, especially parades/ fireworks shows. Sometimes you can just have a kaleidoscope of imagery and characters and that's all you need.

I think we all should have learned by now, whenever Disney closes an attraction and lets it rot because of "concerns over XYZ", the translation is most probably "because we're cheap and wanted to save money." Example: "We built the HKDL castle as an exact replica of the original Disneyland...

Well, Iron Man 2 wasn't that great to begin with and those connections were definitely intentional. But just IMHO they don't fit.

I have to admit I didn't really since the Prince turning bad in Frozen coming either, but I am pretty sick of the whole cliche "the handsome prince is actually a jerk" cliche which we've seen how many times now? Shrek 2, Games of Thrones (Joffrey), and Into the Woods.

Disney really doesn't care much about cohesive theming in any land anymore. If there's an open space that only slightly fits the them to cram an attraction based off of a marketable franchise, they'll put it there.

Maybe instead of using the words "Hollywood" or "studios" maybe they could or should work in the words relating to "films" or "cinema." I know "Cinemagic" is a little trite and used by other things but maybe something along the lines of that?

Then we will complain in the shade! It the stage is anything like the castle forecourt stage then I will be all for it. But if its anything like the big ugly dance party stage that even blocked out the BAH that was once there then I will not be a happy camper.
