News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

Do I think the core is what it should be? No. But do I like what we got. I'm not a fan of the interior of Communicore Hall, but everything else is fine from a design/aesthetic perspective. Vastly prefer it over the concrete wasteland previously here. All the hub is missing is a fountain...

News All-New Nighttime Parade Disney Starlight Set to Debut at Magic Kingdom in 2025

The eastern side is used nightly during fireworks, the issue however is crossing from one side to the other. Would be easier if you didn't have to rely on traversing through the emporium/west sidewalk.

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens May 22 2025

I think once the kinetics are turned on, it'll look a lot more grand and eye-catching. It also has a few lights throughout the chronos, so I imagine at night it'll have a star effect.

News All-New Nighttime Parade Disney Starlight Set to Debut at Magic Kingdom in 2025

What are the chances we get a 2nd Main Street bypass on the West/Emporium side before the parade debuts? Main Street is virtually unnavigable traveling across it during fireworks for about an hour. Can't imagine how it'll be with modern day crowds. I know they open up a bypass, but it's not the...

Tropical Storm Possible Mid to Late Week

It's a very messy storm, we should get more details later today and early tomorrow. It will bring rain into the area, but the parks will more than likely remain open. I'd just prepare now and get some extra ponchos and be prepared to stay in your room for a day.

News All-New Nighttime Parade Disney Starlight Set to Debut at Magic Kingdom in 2025

If they do decide to redo pavement at MK, it'll have to done in pieces versus all at once. Like some posters said, it is looking a bit rough in areas, but they can always do parts of it at night.

Rumor Pecos Bills to be rethemed?

Satu'li Canteen essentially has a similar menu setup and rarely do I wait long for it. Yes DAK has lower attendance, but Disney pretty much has figured out how to quickly feed hundreds of people.

does every one get sick at Disney...

Local here. Was worried when I first moved to Orlando that I would be exposing myself to a lot of illnesses and what not with all my travels to the park. Outside of pollen allergies, I really haven't gotten anything major in the past 3 years of living here now. I have to imagine the airport is...

    News Disney Jollywood Nights 2024

Great show, but O'Wondrous is even better. I have to imagine this new show at Jollywood is essentially the same as this, but with the added projections.

    News Disney Jollywood Nights 2024

Can you do it? Sure. But there will be significant costs attached to doing so. You'd have to add more buses to get guests to another park from MK and staff the other parks more.

    News Disney Jollywood Nights 2024

I still think this event should be a part of the standard holiday offerings. With MK closing early during holiday parties, DHS could have acted as the backup for holidays at WDW. I wouldn't mind if they offered some sort of "Holiday Tour Package" like at Universal that includes reserved seats...

    Coco Boat Ride Mexico Pavilion

There are a couple of solutions to adding Coco to the pavilion. ($) The Cheap Replacement Solution - simply overlay Coco into the existing ride system/space and reroute the queue/exit into one of the exit shops. Will require them to remove/relocate 2 shops (could relocate to the Donald M&G...

    News Disney Jollywood Nights 2024

Because they know people will book it anyway. They can serve standard mac & cheese and people will still book for the "exclusivity" of it.

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

It's standard red tape protocol. This stuff unfortunately happens all the time. Disney filed the permits for the trailers for DAK a while back now and they haven't done anything there yet. No need to worry just yet.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

My guess is that a decision is made in the next 2 weeks as projects need to be approved for the following fiscal year. October should be fun (hopefully).

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

Unfortunately, there are always issues when it comes to some of the more complex attractions. Hagrid's for example, tends to have slow starts to the day since the maintenance team has to work around a small maintenance bay that doesn't provide enough time for them to maintain every train...

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

While I agree that Disney is exaggerating waits (adding to the "fear" of missing out on attractions, forcing families to consider purchasing Lightning Lane), I don't believe Disney is intentionally reducing efficiency in attractions with the intention to increase waits. Complex attractions...

    Universal UK?

Universal has already been actively promoting these plans (like 2 new train stations) and improved transport in the area.

    Universal UK?

To be fair, Universal was forced to acknowledge a UK park earlier than anticipated. There has been progress made, nobody should (or was) expecting construction to begin within a year or two. I'd be more worried if shovels don't hit the ground in 2026.

News TRON Lightcycle Run Standby Line and Lighting Lane status

Unless they're willing to wait until post-Villains/Cars (2030+), ideally now would be the time to refurb it. Not really losing much capacity from Tom Sawyer/Riverboat closures, so you have a few years to work on it until Villains/Cars open.
