Doesn’t matter what the percentage is, you could have the whole world vaccinated except for these communities and the virus still strive in those communities. It will kill them while the rest of the country is recovering, but they don’t fill your quota so they don’t matter.

Never said or implied anything about the homeless or underserved. Nice projection though. The status quo doesn’t have to work and won’t work, still leaves impoverished communities at high risk.

Survival means something very different to people who haven’t eaten for days and who don’t have electricity to turn on their TVs or go argue on the Internet let alone a slice of bread.

All true, but what about those that just don’t want the vaccine? You know they exist in those communities as well, right?

I thought the goal was to get everyone vaccinated and punish those who don’t? How do you punish societies most crippled members? How are they not worth your thought and effort? Keep the context of the reply.

What about those living in complete and total poverty? Those without jobs, cars, electricity? What are you going to do to them? These are people who have feared the gov’t for generations, these are people with less than you could ever imagine. What do you do to them?

I don’t approve of anything these days, I appreciate different outlooks, different inputs and different opinions whether I agree with them or not. The world has rarely benefited from accepting the status quo. Personal opinion.

It’s not. Neither state could afford to do so because they rely on tourist dollars. If they happened to refuse medical attention to an unvaccinated person from New York or California the media would have a field day with it. No win situation for either state. The vaccinated from those states...

I can see that, should have been presented as a ratio but the data doesn't exist yet.

I have no idea and no educated guess what the ratio is, I'm guessing its highly skewed in one direction but not sure that warrants the dismissal of the other possibility.

I get that, but it’s not a zero sum game either way. Saying that only the unvaccinated are spreading the disease with their “tainted” mouths (from a post that was not yours) is side-stepping another issue, one that could be serious. One side is much more likely but the other is not immune.

But….. with the low rate of vaccinated having symptoms or issues, how do we know what the true breakthrough number is? How many have a breakthrough case but stopped being tested or stopped masking because they think they don’t have to worry? How many felt mildly ill but ignored it because they...

Not false equivalency at all and it has zero to do with forgiveness. My point was - vaccinated people can still carry it and pass it to others and are less likely to get tested because they show no symptoms or have, not sure what to call it, Vaxx ego? Implied immunity due to vaccination...
