We have owned for 8 years at AKV. We have stayed at every WDW DVC resort except SSR. We have been fortunate to get our 7 month request. From what I have seen the really hard request to get are club rooms at AKL, standard rooms and 3 BR at BWV, treehouses. I suspect 3 BR at OKW can be tough.

I have not been to DCA, but to add to what you said: WDW is a family vacation destination. Of those 5 rides you mentioned, how many would appeal to a three year old, much less even let them on?

I've always wondered: if you listen to the Chinese narration on the ride, does the narrator still say this line? They dont use this same alphabet and it probably isn't easy for them to learn.

I have noticed that there are different music tracks when I rode over the years. I just always assumed that some are better than others, not that the timing was off. I had noticed over the years that it seemed there were fewer road signs in the ride. Glad to hear the experience is being sharpened!
