I know you're joking but the Columbia is running today.
It's a shock how busy it really is. Today the both boats were pretty busy and rafts were packed. As a first time DL'er, it's so awesome to all of that.
The other big thing is just how Disney villains are truly timeless. Worse case, you can swap out a villain with another but they have extremely good staying power.
Quad lifts makes sense. You need backups because it's bound to be the most problematic part of the ride. After the initial lift I'll take a guess and say it's a tire lift (or boost) because Vekomas usually use that on their family stuff. Heck, even GotG uses it.
Like I get the concern but it would be genuinely painful if you had to take those turns at, let's say, 25mph. You'd be forced on your side. You need the speed to be comfortable on turns that banked.
Second mention of the yeti. The fact they're bringing it up, are they actually considering it? The only person who ever commented on it was Joe until today.
I kind of get the timeline. They said when they started it would be in phases to avoid major disruptions. If they actually shut down the whole area it probably could've been 2026
