I drove a green Gremlin, hubby tied in the battery to keep it attached to the car. I finally got rid of that piece of junk, when the chassy broke into two parts. Funny the battery kept the car together. He used a very heavy duty fishing line.

Thanks for the information, I don't do politics anymore...raises my blood pressure. So I would hardly notice. I like being centrally located. I want to rent....hubby wants to buy. But, I won't go into a house anymore. Daughter loves her apartment. It looks like a more care free life...

We have little stores that are family owned. The big chains have taken over. I hate chain stores and restaurants. Nothing is original anymore.

I do too now, driving is so hard with so many people on the roads, and doing everything else but driving.

Thank you so much for those numbers. We are looking at North Carolina and Florida. How are the taxes in North Carolina? We get half off of property taxes since we are over 65 and have lived in our house over 10 years. (More like 25 years).

Love your pictures and the squirrels...they are quirky and funny. We had squirrels the would go along the power line to our house (upside down) and jump into the bird feeder. I feed them for over 18 years, and after they left I got out the really good sunflower seeds and fed the cardinals...

Me too. We never had a lot of money, but we have alway's loved to share with the kids and grandkids, animal shelters (no kill) and other's. You can't take it with you and I came from a farmhouse with outside plumbing, and wood fire place.
