I’ve watched HEA from the Polynesian and I would say it’s still very enjoyable to watch, even without seeing the projections.

To be fair, EF is 12 minutes long, while Harmonious clocks in around 20 minutes, so it’s safe to say Harmonious will have more pyro.

I don’t disagree that Tron will be beautiful or that Tomorrowland greatly needs something like it because it does. But that show building is massive and it’ll take a lot more than a berm and some trees to cover it up. Admittedly I should withhold my full judgement until it’s complete. But after...

Fair enough. I guess I just have a hard time seeing how they’ll manage to cover up a show building that large and exposed. And frankly how they’ve handled the guardians show building doesn’t give me much confidence.

For me it’s not how much more thrilling Velocicoaster is than Tron. It’s how much it is better integrated into its space than Tron. When they first announced Velocicoaster, I thought it would look incredibly out of place next to the welcome center and that a rollercoaster in the Jurassic park...

Following the concept art, the final ribbon has been installed. All that remains is the 50th Medallion.

It is kind of astounding what a difference the time of day makes.

Wow the back side of the castle was so bizzare. The side turrets are pink, but with no icing. There’s icing on the lower balcony, but no pink above or below it. Truly an overlay straight out of a fever dream lol.

It is possible for one to be all for cast members having butterfly tattoos and earrings while also feeling like the harmonious barges should not be permanently docked in world showcase lagoon. It’s me. I am that one.

Couldn’t be happier about this change. To those clutching their pearls over it, I highly doubt this will have any significant effect on your next visit. And if this is enough for you to cut ties with the US Disney parks, great. More room for the rest of us who are less judgmental.

The pink is actually kind of nice when photographed around sunrise/sunset. Even looks good on a cloudy day too. Still doesn’t change that on a sunny afternoon, we get the Malibu Dream House castle. On my next visit, I’ll just have to make sure to avoid looking at her between the hours of 11 and 5.

What's hilarious to me is with the official promo photos of the castle, they always choose to photograph it in the morning light, when it looks the least pink lol. If they weren't too happy with the purple turrets, I can't imagine they're all that ecstatic over the tan-pink walls either.

Ribbon has now been installed on a second turret. Also see that bunting has finally been added to that small turret on the left.

Maybe I’m reading too much into this, but are you implying the ribbon will have a role (projected on, sparkle, etc) in the fireworks show?

They also used cages for Disneyland’s 50th on the castle. I understand that the blue is supposed to help them blend in with the turrets, but had they gone with the previously used spiral design, it might’ve helped them look better up close.
