You clearly didn't read the description of the event. What exactly about Louis and other critter friends crashing the party and Mama Odie casting spells to hide them, and then visitors have to help Tiana find them sounds anything like a New Orleans Bourbon Street party? It sounds like a kid's...

Without knowing the details of what they actually did, Alice in Wonderland feels like a much, much better fit for a potential adult party than this. The Tiana hidden animals thing very much describes something aimed at children.

The Magic Kingdom is more about a general feel than an attempt to transport you to those locations, though. It's why it's just Adventureland as a catchall. The World Showcase is probably be a better counterexample, but Galaxy's Edge is only about the size of two pavilions. The explorable area...

It's pretty big, but it's not really big enough to separate into different planets without it feeling really jarring. They'd all be small and jammed together.

There is one of those at Disney Springs, and it's pretty good too. Not as good as great local BBQ restaurants, but much better BBQ than I expect to find at Disney.

It's really LLs that matter for this more than the handful of boarding group attractions. Boarding groups are bad for other reasons (like they favor repeat visitors at the expense of people who don't come regularly).

Tatooine would have been terrible. I'm not the biggest fan of Galaxy's Edge, but Tatooine would have been a pretty dull place to wander around and completely uninteresting visually. While they definitely could have done better, Tatooine was never the right choice.
