Team Durango Brainstroming Thread - Project Two: The Golf War

I actually really like this, I think the museum here makes sense. I like how the golf course ties in with the theme of Earth's Natural history and human interaction. Maybe we can incorporate holes themed around creatures with the land, both real & imaginary? I think a hole themed around Bigfoot...

Team Durango Brainstroming Thread - Project Two: The Golf War

I'm not a fan of the museum theme, I think it's just an extra piece that really adds nothing to the project.

Team Durango Brainstroming Thread - Project Two: The Golf War

Here are some more ideas about holes (literally googled natural history museum)- - Dinosaurs Hole - South American Reptile? - Tikis - Central America (Myan Ruins?) - African Savannah - North American Forests (Bigfoot hole?) - Desert Hole I think we should find our 18 holes first. We have the...

Team Durango Brainstroming Thread - Project Two: The Golf War

I'm pretty sure we all as a team has to do one of the three themes (Land, Sea, Space/Sky), and the other two teams complete the other two themes.

Well this is awkward, I'd prefer being on the Sea team. I think the overall idea of Sea has more potential, with or without IPs.

Team Durango Brainstroming Thread - Project Two: The Golf War

So if our course's theme is Land, Sea, Sky/Space, we have these IPs: LAND: pretty much any IP SEA: Pirates of the Caribbean, Lilo & Stitch, Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid, Pinocchio (Monstro), Moana SKY/SPACE (some of these are a stretch): Peter Pan, Aladdin, Mary Poppins, Star Wars...

Team Durango Brainstroming Thread - Project Two: The Golf War

This one IMO has so much potential. We can turn it into something really cool with each hole being themed to a different IP. Although reading the prompt I am confused. Are each team creating one course so there are three courses, and each course have to be in the same genre?

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

Examples of social distanced character meet & greet in Universal Orlando. I'm interested to see how they will pull this off in Hollywood, there's not much space for them to work with (granted many of these don't take up much space). Raptor Encounter in Universal Orlando, the Hollywood one is...

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal Japan is reopening June 19. Both Universal resorts in Japan and Orlando are reopening as soon as they are allowed, not waiting 1-2 months as we have seen with Disney in Shanghai & Orlando (and it's looking like with Tokyo).

SYWTBAI Season 18 - Round One: Team Next Gen Brainstorming Thread

Hey, I'm really really sorry to have to do this, but I have a presentation worth 50% of my grade on Zoom tomorrow, and I thought I'd be able to get both of these done, but I'm swamped with this presentation & final project. I'm so sorry to have to do this, but I'm not gonna have nearly any time...

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

Only way I think they would be able to is if they demo those soundstages behind the land. But, isn't their an unofficial rule or something at USH of no out-door rides that cause a lot of screams, as to not interfere with theming. I do recall reading something that when they built Jurassic...

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

The Yoshi Ride looks very short, but it looks like it could be the Universal People Mover in a way. I personally think USH got the better deal for this, they can now advertise 2 separate rides rather than advertising just a Nintendo area. I'm actually really excited to see how they adapt this...

SYWTBAI Season 18 - Round One: Team Next Gen Brainstorming Thread

Rather than a Dumbo-style flat ride, which believe it or not, there are 7 of these ride systems in the Orlando area (including 2 already at Universal), may I suggest a more themed version of this ride (pic of Dollywood)? It has low capacity, so maybe we can have 2. I've ridden it at Hershey...

I don't think I know much about the Shire as I would need in order to write this properly. If I'm gonna be honest, I've done some research on LOTR today, this entire project is just foreign to me 😂. I think I'd be able though to figure our the main entrance to the land.

SYWTBAI Season 18 - Round One: Team Next Gen Brainstorming Thread

My thoughts is just expanding it, and making it much bigger and grander. The house can be in the center, and then natural pathways through the caves can be scattered to the sides of this? Does this make sense?
