AE's FAILURE? I'd say it was one heck of a success. Scared the bejeezus out of me everytime I rode it. I loved that ride. Was all my family could talk about when mentioning Tomorrowland still to this day.

I hate the idea of franchises too, when I'd love to see a new ip instead of the little mermaid part 6, but it seems to be one of the few ways to bring attention to an area/atraction in the parks. If it brings publicity for that ride, and potentially letting the TDO loosen their purse strings...

If it's anything like a pg13 crimson peak... I'll see it 30 times!

Am I the only one that really likes these movies to do well solely so that the attractions in the parks get the love and reno funding they deserve?

Pretty sure del toro killed that one. The man has too many pjojects on his plate... I too am a HUGE fan of the idea. I haven't heard anything new about the project in over a year. I'd love to see it get the Pirates treatment... then again I was hoping tomorrowland would be hugely successful and...

The wrong bump I fear. It may lead to more fantasyland sprawl in epcot.
