Planet Coaster 2 has been out for 3 days and players are already posting amazing creations while I’m… … still learning. Loving it, but WOW… the avalanche of new creative options comes with a hefty learning curve. Here’s Saguaro Guitaro singing what I imagine is a sarcastic song about my “skills.”

Ok… See… here’s a great example of what other companies do that Disney…. could maybe take a few notes regarding… Here I sit, awaiting the less-than-an-hour-away release of Planet Coaster 2. On a whim, I check iTunes and, yep, Frontier has just released the game’s full official soundtrack. I...

Well, it didn’t help the situation. 😃 While I wasn’t there to witness exactly what prompted the decision to change Jessica’s outfit… yes, the change made me roll my eyes in frustration. But at least this change works fairly well in context and doesn’t harm the dark, chaotic atmosphere of the...

In a magic place where everyone gets along and talking hamburgers dance with soda-selling dinosaurs, the greatest game in the world gets a sequel tomorrow. So, goodbye, Planet Coaster 1. Thank you for all the joy and stress-relief over the past several years. Thank you for getting my family and...

My 2 cents: I love the film Who Framed Roger Rabbit. I love Cartoon Spin. The wardrobe change doesn’t bother me. Jessica Rabbit is smart, brave and aware. The change is totally in character: After her experience with Eddie Valiant, watching him save countless toon lives, it is very believable...

Perfect! 😃 And now I also want this ride system as DLC for Planet Coaster 2.

I’m thinking this ride system could be used to great effect in the CoP space. My fear is that a certain entertainment corporation could dumb it down with an IP, avoid any themes that might cause an inkling of stress in … anybody… and make the ride’s message “Magical self esteem wishes make...

Happy Halloween, everyone! Here’s a good bit of new park-related spookiness: TPW just posted extensive coverage of Efteling’s new haunted attraction, Danse Macabre. Includes a full POV and a tour of the incredibly-themed gift shop. Efteling is #1 on my park bucket list, and this new ride has me...

I first saw Teri Garr as Sgt. Norton on McCloud, and she instantly became a favorite. Loved her in Young Frankenstein, Close Encounters, One From The Heart and Tootsie. She made the world a happier, kinder place. Bless her.

True. But, as an alternative to sending the masses to a long, steep staircase after a spinny ride, how about a nice, pleasant, themed ramp… like on Men in Black at Universal. Funneling the crowds down a big flight of cold, hard stairs is like something I do to my peeps in Planet Coaster. 😃

Also posted today. A lot of standard modern day PR (all very pleasant) regarding Dark Universe, but with some very cool details revealed along the way. My favorite involved more info about Curse of the Werewolf and its simple-but-fun storyline.

I do like the Gringott’s ride, but the stair thing is truly annoying. The only stairs in Florida I dislike more are the long downward exit stairs for Cosmic Rewind. Yeah, that’s what I wanna be staring down after getting off a spinning coaster. 😄

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

I think he’s referring to the shadow projection of the fox and bear chasing the rabbit over a hilltop that came between the sprung trap and Brer Rabbit leaving home.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

The thing is, any theme park can do this. The reason Disney built up a huge multi-generation fan base over decades was that they offered a level of rich, compelling storytelling at DL and WDW. The best adventures had an emotional and creative depth that resonated and stuck with people (and, of...

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

Boy, oh, boy, I can’t wait to see the next storyline Imagineers come up with for an attraction! Gee willikers, I hope it’s another story where everyone smiles and grins like an idiot nonstop (just like on that great Disney ride parody on Phineas and Ferb), nothing much happens, and everyone...

See, this is why I like Star Tours better at DL, where it’s presented as an actual business working out of Tomorrowland. But, at this point, I’d approve if they just gutted all of DL’s TL (except for Space Mtn.) and start over…. Well… I *would* have approved, but now I wouldn’t be surprised if...

Here’s a thought on a replacement for the awful Tomorrowland Speedway (I’m sure I’m not the first to suggest this): It’s right by the Teacups and Cheshire Cafe, with one side along the FL pathway. Give MK, at long last, an Alice dark ride. Make this one an omnimover, but keeping the caterpillar...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens May 22 2025

I’m a local with an annual pass, so I’ve got a room booked at Stella Nova in January for a quick little staycation. Planning to check the place out (love what I’ve seen in the previews), see if there’s any early merch, have a relaxing night, and then check out early, get in my car and head over...
