    Original Alice in Wonderland Ride

Yeah, looking back they're not really that scary, just very crude and surreal. I will say that Snow White '55 looks creepy with the uncanny Witch figures that look nothing like the film.

I also love how even in the "Dark Forest" scene you can still here the merry tune of Heigh Ho from the mine scene.

    Original Alice in Wonderland Ride

This new Alice recording is much nicer than the first one, a lot crisper and clearer. But still, like I said I just don't like the sound of these old rides. It's awesome to finally hear what they sounded like in their original forms, but good lord the 1983 refurbs were necessary. Peter Pan...

New video on Snow White's Enchanted Wish that confirms that the Witch will still have some kind of role in the attraction:

    Original Alice in Wonderland Ride

Something interesting I also noticed in the photo is that there is a brownish glow behind the Witch. It got me wondering, is this just the flash of the camera, or was there a time when the Witch in the Cottage scene actually had a lit interior? This image also prompts the question with the...

    Original Alice in Wonderland Ride

Ugh, last night I had a dream where I discovered a rare photo of a bizarre animatronic Cheshire Cat added to the Tulgey Wood scene in the late 70s refurb, but then I woke up and realised it was just a dream. How amazing would that discovery be in real life...

    Original Alice in Wonderland Ride

Here's the video where I found the images from. I went through their channel uploads and didn't find anything else of interest, but I'll keep checking and keep you notified.

    Original Alice in Wonderland Ride

This witch has to be from the 50s. No way Imagineers would leave such a puzzling figure there in the 70s.

More original dark ride images. Two Peter Pan, two Mr. Toad and this really bizarre Snow White pic.

    Original Alice in Wonderland Ride

This isn't really related to Alice specifically, but I just realised that the current queue for "it's a small world" in the Magic Kingdom is not the original facade. In fact, it was originally much different! Also, it seems that back then, you would board from the front ramp and exit through the...

    Original Alice in Wonderland Ride

There's some clips (like the March Hare and Dormouse's dialogue) that I still haven't found, but there's actually some audio tracks for the 1984 version you can find online which, for some reason, contain all the original Alice narrations! 3:52 - Upside-Down Room 4:20 - Oversized Room 4:25 -...

    Original Alice in Wonderland Ride

Yeah I noticed that a lot. To be very honest the 1958 Alice does not sound nice at all. Everything is loud, brash and repetitive, continuously speaking over one another juxtaposed with dead silences like the Crash Room. And this was recorded on technology from the 70s, so imagine how chaotic the...

    Original Alice in Wonderland Ride

Fun fact: one weird detail in the first Toad Hall scene (pictured above) is that the forced perspective "room" painted onto the plywood wall would actually make no sense, as this room directly stretches out into the area where the riders literally just boarded their vehicle, as the loading area...

    Original Alice in Wonderland Ride

If I'm correct this is where the outdoor "suit of armor" scene is now, right after guests crash out the fireplace?

    Original Alice in Wonderland Ride

Were most of the scenes left intact? From what I've seen the 1955 and 1983 Mr Toad are similar, but still have very different show scenes. Was there more reused assets from the 1955 version than I realise?

    Original Alice in Wonderland Ride

I have a feeling that the photo of those two riders entering the train tunnel is probably the most accurate idea of how the black light looked on the actual rides, especially seeing how little Toad has changed compared to the other dark rides.

Gran Fiesta Tour - New Animatronics

I honestly feel like Coco wouldn't really work replacing Gran Fiesta Tour. If they planned a new version of the ride at all, there's just no way they could handle the capacity for massive queues in that pavilion. Also, I don't think Coco ever had much potential as a refurb, mainly because the...

Gran Fiesta Tour - New Animatronics

I'm just picturing something like this happening on a ride that actually uses animatronics fully... Imagine the Haunted Mansion but a few of the AAs were getting refurbished and were replaced with caricaturised cardboard cut-outs
