Boston weather only tends to be extreme maybe 1 or 2 times a year. I promise you it's nothing like Vermont where it's winter about 9 months out of the year

U of Mich is a great school, as well as Penn. Also, check out Drexel and Northeastern. My boyfriends brother is in Northeastern for mechanical engineering and he loves it. I also need to include my alma mater of Boston University :)
