From what I understand (and what I see on Instagram) Paradise Pier is the single most popular land in DCA. Are they simply going to close it to transform it into Pixar Pier? And what happens to World of Color in the meantime? I can't imagine how frustrated visitors will be.

The long lines are such a bad aspect of the parks. It's kind of insane to think you'll be paying a 100-plus ticket to spend some 8 hours in lines.

DLP does look stunning, and is in my opinion way prettier than its American counterparts. I was surprised by the omission of some rides though. Space Mountain, as great as it is, wasn't there when the park opened either. Neither was Nautilus (Although I don't know if they replaced something else...

I've always wondered why Jungle Cruise and Splash Mountain are not in DLP. I assume Splash Mountain was due to weather, but what about JC? When you factor in that Disneyland Paris opened without Space Mountain, ToonTown, Matterhorn, Jungle Cruise and Splash Mountain, wasn't it odd at the time...

I don't really think you can compare a water park to a theme park. You go to a water park epecting to do the rides multiple times a day, and as soon as you get there. Most people who go to HS don't expect to go on most rides more than once, or to watch Beauty and the Beast three times.

I'm from Brazil and I once went to Aquatica and Wet n Wild during January and the weather was OK. Just check the forecast before and choose the warmest days to go because the weather can make quite a difference from one day to the next.
