Could a video game section work in WDW??

Before we get bogged down in how much everyone hates EA... - Their share price has risen but is still low for a buyout. - They are already developing Star Wars titles. - They are the second biggest Publisher on console and I believe close to #1 on mobile. - They currently have a bad rep (amongst...

The PS4 Thread - Endless Possibilities

Pre-ordered today. Looking forward to E3 to see the system and hear more from Sony. XB1 reveal was simply shocking in terms of clear messaging, so many contradicting statements from within their Senior Management Team - much prefer the system which seems to be about gamers. Anyone else aboard...

    Disney Infinity - Which Console?

In the interests of correct reporting. EA is developing Wii U games, has bigger plans for PS4 and Xbox One, CFO says http://www.polygon.com/2013/5/21/4351844/ea-developing-wii-u-games

Could a video game section work in WDW??

I think they will buy EA in the next year or so.

    D23 winding down?

I'm a Gold D23 member from Australia, you think it's pointless when you live in the US, let me tell you a thing or two!

    Disney Infinity - Which Console?

Agree on the first part, shelf life wouldn't be 18 months. But I'll know I can play it longer than on the 360 and PS3 as once the new consoles come out I will be replacing the current ones - so I only have 7 more months of the current gen... Better finish some games. The slate looks pretty...

    Disney Infinity - Which Console?

I'm not sure what Indonesia has to do with this discussion. For what it's worth, people in Brazil are playing Genesis/Megadrive games.

    Disney Infinity - Which Console?

Providing some commentary here... How can you know XBOX Live for the 360 will remain 'strong' after the 720 launches at the end of the year? This is unlike the last generation (timely, the XBOX is 8 years old soon), at this stage anyway, you can't make a comparison when no price or specs exists...

    Disney Infinity - Which Console?

I'm going against everyone else on this one and getting the Wii U version. It's going to be around at least another 3 years... If Nintendo do the right thing (lol). The next XBOX and Playstation are out at the end of the year, and won't be backwards compatible, so getting it on the X360 and PS3...

    "Mickey's Death Wheel"

Love these videos, went in January and this was the easily the scariest 'ride' we went on at DLR. I'm not even kidding.

Disney movies that are underrepresented at Disney Parks

I remember going to DL in 92 and riding Splash, back then the Briar Patch sold nothing but Splash Mountain/Song of the South apparel - range of plush, shirts, mugs, figures etc; not sure why that changed... it just seems overly odd to me to have the ride with minimum merch and no touch point for...

Disney movies that are underrepresented at Disney Parks

I feel the same way about the Oz and Alice reboots.

Disney movies that are underrepresented at Disney Parks

Song of the South. Yes, it has its own ride but Disney should do more to promote it, it's a premier attraction and Disney treat it like a red head child. Zero merchandise other than tie-dyed shirts (what is the US fascination with this?), jumpers and towel - all the same design. Pathetic.

Disney Twenty-three - is it worth it $40/year?

Cry me a river, I've got a Gold Membership and am based in Australia - so not only am I just paying for the magazine but also events/discounts I can't use PLUS International Shipping. And to top that off, Disney Australia have given up on the Disney Rewards program. If anyone needs me Ill be...

Extra Magic Hour/Radiator Springs Racers Fastpass

Yep, having been to WDW with the Plastic Card and bio print, it seemed very strange to have paper tickets at DLR. I understand they have to take steps to combat second hand sales but really is at the expense of quick access to the parks for a lot of people with legitimate tickets. I can't...

Extra Magic Hour/Radiator Springs Racers Fastpass

We only did the GCH entrance twice and to be honest, I only really see the benefit of it as being a quick exit at the end of the day. It's great if you don't want to get into the park early - but that's kind of the whole point of staying there.

Extra Magic Hour/Radiator Springs Racers Fastpass

Just adding to the above, be sure you get to the GCH CAP entrance about 30 minutes before the park opens, otherwise you will face a lengthy wait to get in. There is only 2/3 people doing a bag check and there are only 2 turnstiles to enter. Also, if you are using a multipass for the first time...

Which pavilion would you add to Epcot World Showcase?

Australia - Table Service: Steakhouse or Seafood Restaurant. - Quick Service: Genuine Australian food (meat pies, sausage rolls, Prawns etc). - Ride: Mine Cart Ride with Ducktales. - Attraction#1: History of Australia doco hosted by Hugh Jackman / Russell Crowe / Cate Blanchett similar to...

The crazys are at Epcot today

I've encountered them, both in WDW and DLR, and in my experience 'they' are no ruder/different than most other people who believe that because they are on holiday they can be/say/do whatever they want.

The crazys are at Epcot today

So... it's the chanting, large group size and clothing really that sets them apart from the other rude people that are encountered at WDW?
