is the seat/shoulder harness similar to that of Alien encounter? I'm going to Epcot in August and am having some concerns about it. I wouldn't call myself clausterphobic per se but I dont like really small spaces. Also I am..um...a larger person so I'm not sure I even want to bother with MS
I'd like it to stay as it is. Especially if redoing it required them to close it for years, like in DL.
I'm still bitter over how they "updated" the Tiki Room
I love Push! My friend and I were shopping in the store across from the Speedway. It comes up to us and says, "hubba hubba college girls". Which made me laugh since it happened to be my 30th birthday. Nice ego stroke on a day where I was feeling old hehe. It then went into the back room and a CM...
TTA when the sun is going down. Sometimes I'll get on and just keep riding. I enjoy seeing the glorious sunset around the castle, and looking down on all the people while I'm just kicking back and relaxing.
I like the jungle cruise. But I have to make sure it's a few years between rides. I can appreciate the silly, cute jokes. They are what made the JC famous after all. The last time I rode it though, I just wanted to jump overboard.
Space Mountain- Riding it for the first time with my mom is my earliest MK memory. My sisters made me ride with her because they thought I would be scared and start crying. The joke was on them, I was like "weeee, what's the big deal it's not scary?"
This is a great topic. More than anything else scents trigger memories for me. Just walking through MK and being assauled with them all brings back so many fond memories of visits past. The last time I was there I remember thinking how much I wish I could bottle those smells. Disney would...
I had to walk around MK after being in bed for 3 days for severe sunburn. It was so bad I had half dollar sized blisters on my chest and back. And of course, all day long people were bumping into my back while waiting in lines. *shudder at the memory*
-When you're driving 14 hours to DW and you only listen to the one Disney tape you made. When it finishes you just let it start over. Then on the drive home you do the same, never tiring of it.
-when a prerequisite for an elligible husband is that he loves Disney as much as I do.
-when you've...
My friend is a teacher in a high school. And the running joke with us is that we can't go anywhere without running into someone from the school. So we're standing in front of the entrance to MK taking a group picture and someone calls out her name and comes up and wraps her in a big hug. She...
I can't wait to see that again. I came home from it and told anyone who would listen that they need to see it. Christmas in Florida was weird but that made the trip well worth it.
In the Magic Kingdom....the Hall of Presidents and the Carousel of Progress are good places to take your little ones for a nap. Also the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. It's one of my favorites because it's very relaxing when you are tired. And they will let ride continually if you want.
I too think about what it would be like to work there every time I visit. And I always come away from it thinking this way....Disney World is where I go to escape life and experience a little magic. A place that holds so many fond memories, and where I can be a kid again. If I worked there every...
I'm glad this subject came up. There were many times when I left one of the parks and wanted to fire off a letter to someone in charge. But once I got home I lost interest and didn't feel like searching for an address. It never crossed my mind to write and praise a CM. And being one employee...
There were times when I've been one of those grumpy guests. I can get really nasty when I am overtired. But that is no excuse for bad behavior. Recently I had an eye opener at the Magic Kingdom that will forever change my ways. I was there with my parents. My dad is 79 years old and it had just...
