    Unsolved Mysteries

My family has orders to cremate me and let me slide out their pant legs like the dirt in The Great Escape. All over the World.

    The Smells of Disney

Burning Rome. Ellen's Energy smell always takes me away from the experience and makes me wonder "What is that?" But it's unique to Disney World so its getting a shout (no nod, though) from me.

Simple little thing that drives you crazy and probably shouldn't.

Me too! I love the People Mover. Don't know why. But I want to discover some little "treasure" just for People Mover people. Like some little "Walt" scene, or visions of the community that it could have been. Give me something futuristic here!

Can you bring a laptop into the parks?

Okay, at first I thought you were crazy. Now I'm just jealous.

death by a thousand cuts or over-reaction

We always stayed that 3rd EMH hour and the monorails always had quite a few people on them. And to me, that 3rd hour was the POINT. You stayed until the park cleared out and you could ride the best rides over and over and over.... And you don't stay in the park for 8 hours, you go and nap in...

    Favorite WDW moments

Having the check-in packet in hand Hearing "Hurry Back! And be sure to bring your death certificate" On EMH night and everyone has mostly gone and you have Mainstreet to yourself and you stand in the middle of the street and look all around you at the emptiness of it all. I LOVE that moment! :)

Don't forget those afternoon thunderstorms! A poncho and a tube of waterproof mascara, and you are good to go!

Your Grade for Walt Disney World

I gave it an A- because Disney is still the best spot for a vacation. The minus? Well, there should be water under the turtles in Splash, the yeti should move, etc.

    Peter Pan

Only seen him once, years ago. Slightly disappointed, I must say.

    AoA The Lion King

Actually, the Murphy bed is a regular mattress and was very comfortable. And the fold out couch mattress was very unique. Instead of having the mattress fold, the foot part that folds is a separate mattress. DS who is 20 slept on it and hates fold out couch beds. He was very comfortable. We...

    Value vs. Moderate

We always stay at a deluxe or moderate and stayed at AofA this year due to also having 5 people. We all loved the resort. I didn't feel like I was missing anything, and the room was bigger than a moderate or some deluxe rooms. Having 2 bathrooms was a PLUS. We never had to wait long for a...

Do you have anything that is JUST for Disney?

Okay, I,too, have a Disney pack. It is leather with Mickey on it. Bought it in '97. Everyone will be glad to know I don't wear it anymore, but when I did, it was a WDW exclusive!! (And I still love it!) :(

Peter Pan's Flight needs a rehab??

I agree. I LOVE LOVE the Peter Pan ride and I am NOT a Disney basher, but the day-glo colors seem sorta 70's to me. Would it be bad to "freshen up" a bit??? Get the colors aligned with the original movie a bit more?

    Your favorite "mountain" ride.

Disney Travelers That Don't Plan...Come Forth!!

I HATE making ADR's but the year before, I didn't make any, we were stuck waiting forever or getting so tired of waiting, we ate quick serve. I ended up calling 2 or 3 days in and getting some reservations for the rest of the trip. This year, I made ADR's for all of our sit down meals and was...

    1997's Cinderella Cake Castle

I do remember it took a long time to see it. There was so much going on there. It took a while to take it all in. I also remember being disappointed that my castle view for that year was going to be THAT....
