I want the job of the guy I saw at the Poly. Walking around in shorts, a Hawaiian shirt, and a name tag. Saying good morning to everyone. Saw him every morning. That's all I ever saw him do. That's my dream Disney job.

Yeah, I did that on the plane full of families headed to Orlando one year. The plane dropped several feet and I said that "not so Disney" word. Okay, I shouted it. Everyone had that "Linda Blair" moment where their heads turned completely around to check out the trash mouth. My inner sailor...

Our Disney trips are a complete immersion. We don't leave the property until it is time to leave. So the dining is part of the experience. We always get the dining plan and pay for it before we go, so its all gravy after that. (that is a Texas saying...hope it translates here!) ;)

Small world. I actually like checking out the detail. And hey, I have plenty of fingers to stick in my ears should it come to that.

Loved Walt Disney World Explorer! Husband sold it in a garage sale WITHOUT permission several years ago. There was also a cool Titanic game in there, too. Mmm. Gonna have to get me a new one. (Husband, that is.)

Those 30 seconds when your feet first hit the pavement of the hotel you are staying at. You are walking to check in and can hear the Chariots of Fire music in your head.

I saw that show! The last one took them to Austin. That's just a few hours down the road, and I was thinking how disappointed I would be to trade my vacation for that! (Austin is a great place, but it's no Disney World!) So I vote NO! Keep away from my vacation! :mad:

Horizons. It was the epitome of the original "Disney" spirit. That, and CoP.

I am a teacher and DH is a coach, so summer is lounge time for us. However, Disney time is GO, GO, GO TIME! Up early, to bed late, and an afternoon nap in between. We rest when we get home!

I know! I CANNOT get through that Dumbo scene with a dry eye!

It will be fine. We were there for a tropical storm Debbie and we just threw on a poncho and went. We actually rode more rides and did more parks in a short time because the crowds were down. I did miss some sun and pool time, but hey, it's DISNEY FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! How bad could that be???

World Showcase for sure. And any stroll around Poly. I even like the walk from T&TC to Poly.
