I don’t think this one will be hard to get right. The land itself fits in with other lands of AK and it is really only the IPs from the rides that don’t. But I think that’ll be hidden mostly by the facade with Indy. With Encanto it might be a little less so.

You might not be that far off considering what they're trying to do to tie it in to Frontierland.

It seems like it’s most closely related to the Pop Century resort where half of it was put on hold. But that of course did come back with a different theme.

They never actually announced a Moana ride. They just showed some blue sky concept of one and the thing they actually announced is happening where that was in AK. So I don’t think it’s going to happen at all tbh.

I think it will be exactly that kind of E ticket precisely because Indy will be a retheme not an entirely new ride (even though it kind of is) and Lin-Manuel Miranda was pushing hard for them to make an Encanto ride and I think they actually will listen to him in some capacity.

I don’t really care about the LB or TSI much, but I still think a River should run through for purely aesthetic reasons.

They should replace AC and just put Monsters there along with moving the Cars ride there too and it could all be interconnected with Toy Story Land as a Pixar theme and save ROA. Then just make Villains land bigger.

Disney have been top dog for so long they’ve become risk adverse whereas Universal is willing to take risks to become top dog. It’s only a good thing because without Universal they’d probably be doing a lot less and merely mostly maintaining what they’ve got rather than expanding on it much.

You know, I was thinking, it would be kind of cool to have a villains dark ride water ride utilizing the tech from the Shanghai pirates ride. They could have the villains teaming up with Captain Hook leading the way from Neverland, then recruiting Ursula under the sea. Etc.

It really annoys me that Disney announce these things but not where it’s going. Now they have upset a ton of fans and created a negative discourse with both this and the cars attraction in MK. They handle these announcements in the worst possible way.

I’m mostly just worried about how the lack of a river affects Ls and HM. Waterfalls and water features are nice but will it ruin HM?

It should really be close to TSL to really solidify the Pixar connection.
