Reportedly the original ballroom music was restored today, no word on the seance room though

Pandora: The World of Avatar at Disneyland or California Adventure

Although Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway will contain a lot of projections in it, it does appear that it will have a good amount of animatronics and physical elements as well. Not a good comparison

    Rise of the Resistance

Whether you believe they are technically "trackless" or not, trackless has become the term that has been used to describe all of those attractions. Even though the path that these vehicles follow are set, technically there is no physical track to speak of which allows much more freedom of movement.

News Paradise Pier Becoming Pixar Pier

It appears that there are about 7 or so songs. I don't think it would be any better or worse than working the Mater attraction

    Upcoming Changes to Test Track?

Gotta disagree. Like it or hate it, the car creation is so integral to the new version that the ride would be kinda meaningless without it. I shouldn't need to download a mobile app to get the full enjoyment out of a ride

Avengers Campus - Reactions / Reviews

Sometimes I like to lead people to believe it is, but no. Happy Gilmore is an amazing movie though.

Avengers Campus - Reactions / Reviews

It sounds like there will be practical effects to some extent. Even though it is another shooter ride in DCA, I do have hopes that they will find ways of differentiating it. There's not much point in preaching doom and gloom when we know so little at this point. However it turns out, I don't see...

    Splash Mountain Audio Mystery

Huh, I never noticed that. I'm definitely used to hearing WDW's version on the soundtrack I own of DL's, but I never released it was different from what's heard on-ride. Thanks for pointing that out

    Splash Mountain Audio Mystery

It definitely does. It plays up until the point you make the big drop.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway - Disneyland

In the relatively short time I've been on this forum it has always shocked me how quickly and easily threads will get off topic. It happens every single time without fail.

What should happen to Winnie the Pooh?

I have to disagree a bit here. What sets the original version apart is the songs are used as an outlet to introduce and show the personalities of the characters. You can tell after a couple of seconds certain details such as that Big Al is lumbering buffoon or the sweet innocent nature of the...

    Upcoming Changes to Test Track?

Is there any notable set pieces that were removed? The trees and the truck are still there. Unless I am mistaken, everything else appeared to be a warehouse backdrop

    Upcoming Changes to Test Track?

I may be a bit biased since I have never ridden Test Track 1.0, but I personally think Test Track 2.0 is really enjoyable and a vast improvement from what I have seen. I think that Test Track 1.0 was starting to become dated, and I think Disney was obligated to update it rather than let it sit...

Rank the Classic-Style DL Dark Rides

Mr. Toad: A true classic, this ride is wild and imaginative. It is just brimming with charm and always manages to put a smile on my face Snow White: While not very true to the movie, this ride is great in it's own right with the way it invokes the imagery from the more frightening moments from...

Small World Disneyland vs. Small World WDW

I agree, but I still think DL's is a little better. With all the extra space it had, they should've been able to do a lot more with the WDW version, but DL's is better in the ways that matter.

Small World Disneyland vs. Small World WDW

On the topic of Pooh, I think DL does more with less space. Although it doesn't follow the sequence in the movie, the dream scene makes more sense in the ride after the rain scene, and serves as a better climax. Disneyland also has a longer dream sequence and overall has a better flow to it...
