    My trip to Busch Gardens

I know I'm going to get absolutely flamed for this, but here goes anyway. We just got back from our fourth trip to Florida in the last four years and this time we did Busch Gardens in addition to Disney. I have to say, my family absolutely LOVED Busch Gardens! My husband and I totally enjoyed...

    Unofficial Guide's Tour Plans

The first time my family went to WDW in 2004, I tried modifying the Unofficial Guide's touring plans to fit our family and I have to say that by attraction #2, I was stressed out beyond belief. We ended up just going to the things that interested us and if there was a long line, we just tried...

    Bibbiti Bobbiti Boutique Tips

I would also agree with all of these tips, as well; however, we were one of those parents who lied about our daughter's age (she was four months shy of being 3 when we took her), but she did great! Now I'm not advocating that everyone lie about their daughter's age, but she always sat still for...

    How young is too young???

We took our then 8-month-old daughter to WDW in Sept. 04 and I can honestly say she whined and cried and complained less than half of the older kids we saw standing in line with their parents (and that includes my own two older children! :ROFLOL:) We just knew going in that if she got fussy or...

    Which Character....?

My youngest DS has loved Buzz Lightyear since he was one and he's now five and a half, so we always have to go find Buzz! If we don't find him and get a picture, we will have a Disney World meltdown on our hands! :ROFLOL:

Today was the last show of Playhouse Disney Live and the last for Bear

Does anyone know the exact date of when the new Playhouse Disney show is starting? We are going from Feb. 9-16 and my daughter loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and I'm hoping to be able to catch the new show while we're there. This may have already been posted somewhere and I apologize if that's...

    stuck on a ride?

We also got stuck on TOT last September. It was my mother-in-law's first ride (after much coaxing on my part) and right after the first drop, it just stopped. Then, the window smashed again and the doors kept opening and closing. My oldest son (who had been on it quite a few times before with...

    Need help for WDW-loving teacher!

Hi! I'm not sure I'm posting this in the right spot, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for an "end-of-the-year" gift for my son's WDW-loving teacher. They were going to try to take a trip there this summer, but now they can't due to budget constraints. Any ideas out there on what I...

Which guide do you recommend ?

Another vote for the Unofficial Guide! Plus it also gives you information on Universal Orlando, Islands of Adventure, and Sea World. I still read it even when I don't have immediate plans to visit WDW!

    Checking a carseat

If you happen to be flying Southwest, they will put it in a bag for you and then have you take it to TSA and they'll check it. At least that's what they did in Pittsburgh both in Sept. and February. Both times, the carseat came back without a scratch (and that includes switching planes in...

Does anyone else think this is funny?

Was it just me or did I hear the sound of Miss Gulch riding her bicycle through the tornado?

    Claustrophobia in the parks

I have minor claustrophobia, as well, but the only place I've ever felt uncomfortable at WDW (except M:S, which I refuse to put myself through) was when TOT got stuck between floors and they had to "manually" remove us. Since I had my two sons with me, I was so busy trying to reassure them that...

Do you find that staying off site

We have stayed both on and off-site and actually I prefer off-site more. I liked having the freedom of eating somewhere other than at WDW (we had a condo, so we could also make our own meals, too). I also liked getting a "break" from the craziness. I don't feel we missed out on the magic at...

    Question ABout Cinderella's Royal Table

I second this. No Prince Charming for ours, either. Our boys still enjoyed it, though.

    Best place to find Mickey?

I second (or third) the AK Camp Mickey-Minnie suggestion. We've met him several times there during the Lion King show and we were the only ones there. The kids spent alot of time with each of the characters there.

Memories from the old days ........

Maybe I'm wrong here, but didn't they used to make the Mickey Mouse ice cream bars without the fudge ears? I thought I remembered them just being all ice cream with the ears being chocolate and the rest was vanilla. Am I wrong? Even so, I've had them somewhere and I like those ALOT better...

    Crocs

Oh, I was so like you up until a month ago when my family went to Key West for a few days. Everyone there had them and I decided, what the heck, I'll give them a try. This was after two years of my closest friend swearing by them and me making fun of her. I told her she looked ridiculous and...
