    HM - Day 2 Q&A

The Sinister 11 paintings look exactly the same to me. I think that they may have attached some canvas to the back of the painting and painted new eyes in - an easy fix.

The Brown Derby is in a different class from the other restaurants. You and your mom will not be sorry. The atmosphere is elegant and the food superb. I highly recommend the Cobb Salad - it is out of this world!

    New rumors and news

Me too.... I am writing a dining guide to Disney and other than AK Lodge, Animal Kingdom leave a big fat blank spot. AK is the only park without a feature Signature restaurant.

Disney's Everest site is up and running!

The Exhibition Everest Disney site is up and running! Its awesome! Everyone should check it out! www.disneyeverest.com It seems that Disney's IT dept only needed an extra day (since they said it would be up on the 16th).

    Marrakesh

Yes, all of the restaurants around Walt Disney World offer "Disney's take" of the dishes to fit into the entire experience. For example, at the 50's Prime Time Cafe, the dish is an "idealized" home cooked meal - not what most of us would normally eat. The same thing goes for the restaurants...

    Breakfasts???

If you want an excellent breakfast look no further than Boma. It is right in your hotel and is as good as it gets (and it is all you can eat).

    WDW By yourself????

I am constantly there by myself researching WDW restaurants for a book that I am writing. I always have a wonderful time. It is truly a self absorbing experience. I go where I want, when I want for as long as I want. Makes for a nice day and it allows me to focus on my work.

Odds on Walking in at Le Cellier for Dinner?

I would continue to call the Advance Reservation Service to see if something opens up. You are always better off having the Reservation in place - especially since the Candlelight Processional is during this time. You can also plan a late lunch there as an alternative. Their lunch menu is...

    Best Bathrooms @ WDW

MK: Mickeys ToonTown - right next to gas station. Farthest stall in Mens Rest Room. The exhaust fan is so LOUD that nobody will hear anything that you are doing. You will feel like a King sitting on his throne. :king:

Splash Mountain in DL, or MK?

I have been on both as well. I like MK's more but DL has 2 things that I REALLY like. First, the small "roller coaster" part of the ride goes very smoothly from the water to the coaster - while at MK, it a bit more choppy. Secondly, DL big drop into the briar patch lands you directly in...

what creppy, small, little animals or bugs you always run into?

No one here has seen the beautiful deer at dusk? If you ride the Monorail from the Magic Kingdom to Epcot around dusk you will usually see about 2 or 3 deer out for their dinner. It is always a pleasing see them. One time, right next to the Coral Grill sign at Epcot, was a tiny baby bunnie...

    Animal Kingdom Restaurant

Jiko and Boma both offer unique tastes that are a real treat. To have a very nice meal, I would make the trip over to the Animal Kingdom Lodge and eat at Jiko or Boma. Both are award winning restaurants and have excellent food. I was stunned on how good the food is at Boma and Jiko. In...

    Artist Point?

Artist Point is a wonderful restaurant that is reminiscent of the Parks of the Great NorthWest. The atmosphere is casual but elegant and the food is superb! My favorite is the Buffalo steak and the Salmon. The decor is of Frank Lloyd Wright design - it is well worth your time to have lunch or...

    Mission: Space "Spew" Factor

The after the ride theory is a myth People DO get sick during the ride. My first time riding (while it was still in testing) a kid next to me kept saying "This stinks, this stinks" during the takeoff sequence of the ride. During the "slingshot around the moon" part of the attraction he just...

Soft Drink Prices being lowered for June

Absolutely a revenue producing move. I have a Masters Degree in Marketing and the description is pure Price/Cost analysis. Since the test has a beginning and an end, it is measurable towards its objectives (probably if a rise in revenue occurs due to higher sales, and secondly - measuring the...
