You beat me on steps! My top day, which was only half day in the Studios and a lot of resort hopping was 26,455 steps. My Epcot steps for one day was only 24,252. 24,388 for Magic Kingdom.
I'm impressed!
I do find Disneyland's queue simply stunning, and to me that's one of the most tranquil parts of the park. I just find the ride inside somewhat lacking. It's also possible that I'm biased since they got rid of Country Bears (which I LOVED) to put it in.
I don't feel it's really fair for me to vote, since I've never ridden either. However, I could argue that for me Slinky Dog would be superior since I likely couldn't ride Rock 'N' Rollercoaster without it being fatal for health reasons. I also don't see Slinky Dog as worth the ridiculous wait...
I agree with your points on Living Seas and Toad, but I definately feel that WDW's Pooh is far superior. Funny how people look at the same attractions so differently.
Looking forward to many, many photos. I love the idea of a resort only WDW trip. People forget that there's much more than just theme parks to enjoy. That's why I always want more time there; so I can enjoy the quieter parts of WDW, too.
That was during my first ever trip to WDW back in 1988.
My retirement trip will be in 2029, so hopefully the Mickey Mouse birthday celebrations will still be going on.
