Nice report. I love reading these things, but they make me remember how far October is. :lol: We are not staying at Shades of Green, but are getting our tickets through them. How was your experience with them?

Maybe a soft opening, but I wouldn't count on it. :( We usually go in May and were targeting that week, but had some issues that pushed our vacation back a bit. May is my favorite time to go though. If the ride is still down, look at the bright side, it's a reason to schedule another trip.

Mine too. Fly in, check in at hotel, grab some grub, hit MK for the event. Should be a great first night. Can't wait to see my daughter's face. She has no idea we are going and she loves Halloween.

I used to care, but am past it. Lost my grandpa a few weeks ago and my dad had to go through a quad bi-pass a couple of months ago. You never know what the future holds. Life is too short. We live responsible and within our means. But we will plan for vacations and have no regrets...

For us it boils down to the rooms. Having a separate living room and the kid having her own bedroom is great for letting us unwind while the kid crashes after a day at the park. It helps to give us that relaxing not in the real-world feel to the trip. We have a full kitchen and always stock...

My daughter loves Splash. It would ruin a trip if it were down. I wouldn't like it if HM were down. How far in advance do they know when attractions are going to be down? We are shooting for a trip in May.
