Apple Scooter?

Hey Everyone,

Hopefully this wont get into a debate about scotters. But I do have a question. Has anyone rented from there before and if so was the experince good?

I need the scooter for my self. I had back surgery in Aug with complications so I am not ready to do any real walking and I want to
make sure this is a good company to go with.

I've never used them so can't tell you if they're a good company or not. I too have rented a scooter for my upcoming trip. I have stress fractures (2 of them) in my left lower leg and I have a walking cast on my leg so I can't manage a full day of walking in the parks. I rented my scooter from Walker Mobility. A lot of people who visit WDW rent from them. Walker will deliver the scooter to your resort the day before you arrive and will pick it up the day you check out free of charge (not sure if Apple does this or not). Another company is Buena Vista Scooters. They are actually on Disney property (they're located at the Boardwalk Resort. They also will deliver to your resort and pick it up free of charge. Their website is http://www.buenavistascooters.com/

Disney7879 recommended Apple to me a couple of months ago on here. I think that is who we will be using for our upcoming trip.

My mother used Apple Scooter for a weekend in October. The scooter stalled over forty times in two days! Every time it stalled, she had to remove the key and re-ignite. This was very inconvienient on a crowded Saturday at Epcot during the Food and Wine festival. In June, her scooter from Scooter Vacations overheated for a half an hour at Epcot. Good luck finding a good one.

Thank you for the advice. We rented one time from a company I can't remeber their names. I didn't have a problem at all. Since I will be traveling with my husband and 2 small children I don't want to run into that problem.

we rented from some medical supply company. same as most, dropped off at our resort, but ours was reliable.
