Season Pass

Does anyone know how much a season pass would cost? I heard that if you plan on staying more than 8 days, you should get a season's pass. We are going there on our honeymoon and plan to be in Orlando for 9 days.

If you're asking about the "seasonal" passes, that is a whole different story. These are for FL residents only (ID required). They include only the 4 main parks & do have blackout dates. They are on blackout presently, through (mid?) August. The prices for the FL residents seasonal pass are as follows:

$179.00 - adult
$152.00 - child

If going for more than 3 days, this is OBVIOUSLY so worth it. This is how I've done Disney for the last 5 years & it is awesome. The blackout dates are on dates that most "locals" would not dare venture into the parks anyway, so it works out ok.

Unless some sweet talking Englishman convinces you that it's worth it! ;)

Get the annual pass. You will save money. You can get about a $10- 15 discount with the disney club. Besides, you can always convince your partner that you could go back and only have to pay for room and meals.

That's the strategy I'm going to use when I finally get down there (August, if all goes well...) and buy an annual pass - "But, honey, I have to go back to WDW - I paid for an annual pass!"

Meega, nala kwishta!
The savings really come in when you stay at one of WDW resorts and get a discount on the rack rates.

At some times of the year you can save up to 40% on a room per nights. And if it's a deluxe resort, you could be talking upwards of $100 a night.

Hmm, 8 nights x $100 savings = $800 - $349 (Reg AP) = $451. That's pretty good.

Remember, you only need the person paying for the room to have the AP. So buy 1 AP, and everyone else get cheaper tickes for the rest of the stay.
