FIXT!
Given the subject matter, Id expect a plethora of American Flags...
I don’t know why, but that cool blue lighting that they have right before the ride takes off is one of my favorite things. Some of the lighting that has stopped working out should be getting replaced.
They'll have to pay extra for that.It could be made parabolic so that the one person exactly in the middle will not see any straight lines curve!!
The flags aren't bent... they're *waving*!!Seeing this reminds me….
People always complained about the Effiel Tower looking ‘bent’ when seen from a certain angle.
Straight lines on curved screens sometimes don’t work nicely together.
Now…just image seeing all those ‘lines’ on the stripes of the American flag projected onto a curved screen.
Yeesh….!

“Theme” is a bit of a stretch here. That’s the beauty of WDW’s airport theme, it can be used for any version of the film.

Which sounds to me like they totally nailed an airport!
Until you look at the awful unthemed ceiling right before you board. Suddenly, I’m back at LaGuardia in 1997.I've said multiple times that Soarin's queue is very well themed -- it looks exactly like the long, mostly empty corridors you walk down in large airports, usually between terminals or after disembarking. Feels just like you're in an airport!
Whether that's a good theme is a separate discussion...

WDI nailed it?
MCO should be Soarin’s sponsor. The carpet is iconic and should be in the queue! It is not a properly themed airport …er…gliderport until it has specially themed socks.
Yes, socks.
Disney is leaving money on the table.
To complete the real airport feeling, ‘Soarin’ needs to have socks made to resemble the carpet pattern one traverses on the way to their ‘flight’.
You know, just like at MCO…!
Now that is a property themed airport….and check out these awesome socks that come in a cardboard box made to look like the MCO tram!

Love me some MCO airside carpet socks.
We need ‘Soarin’ socks, too.
If we can’t get carpet patterns, at least put our Chief Flight Attendent Patricks’ face on these with the saying ‘Nice Work, Pal!’ embroidered in them.
THEN, and only then, will the theming be complete.

And who needs Patrick Warburton when you could get Mayor Buddy Dyer to do the spiels!MCO should be Soarin’s sponsor. The carpet is iconic and should be in the queue!
That’s where I draw the line, Chief Flight Attendant Patrick is non-negotiable.And who needs Patrick Warburton when you could get Mayor Buddy Dyer to do the spiels!

But of course this new partnership will require a second preshow that takes you from the terminal to the gate. That’s Buddy’s time to shine!
Sorry, that’s no longer included, step into the upcharge line if you’d like that service!and a simulated magical express/Mears connect ride
